there are a few attraction tickets required to purchase that is not part of this package. like taking the escalator and cable car. line A is best to see everything at this mountain but long walk. remember to wear a good pair of shoes
Spectacular. I was really looking forward to going, and it was great. Experience: Highly recommended Price: Fair Facilities: The entire cableway to the summit is closed for a long time for renovations. I think today the best option is Line B.
A one-day self-guided tour of Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area (Route B) was truly a breathtaking journey. Taking the world's longest high-altitude ropeway slowly up the mountain, I overlooked Zhangjiajie city and the valley, with clouds and mist swirling like a fairyland. The ropeway wound its way up, and the views gradually opened up, with distant mountains like paintings and nearby scenery like screens, filling me with joy. Upon reaching the summit, the magnificent Tianmen Cave came into view—a colossal natural stone archway, awe-inspiring and a testament to nature's extraordinary craftsmanship. Walking on the glass skywalk was a heart-pounding challenge. Beneath my feet, a sheer drop offered both thrill and excitement, while also providing stunning views of the valley. The design of the pathways along the route was well-planned, allowing for both thrilling experiences and safe enjoyment of the scenery. Following Route B, I passed through Guigu Plank Road and Tianmen Temple. Guigu Plank Road, built along the mountain, was winding and precarious yet incredibly beautiful; Tianmen Temple, on the other hand, was serene and solemn, with incense smoke curling upwards, bringing a sense of peace. This itinerary offered both natural grandeur and cultural depth. Descending the mountain by bus on the winding mountain road, we navigated the 99 bends of the 'Heaven-Linking Avenue,' a thrilling and memorable experience. Overall, this trip was not only a visual feast but also an unforgettable and wonderful memory, fully showcasing the majestic beauty and charm of Tianmen Mountain.
An amazing experience. The process was incredibly smooth—I booked my ticket online in advance through Klook. When we arrived, we showed our passports at the gate and entered without any hassle. Getting around the park was just as easy; the views were absolutely epic. The scenery is a natural wonderland. A must-do is the "Stairway to Heaven" leading to Heaven's Gate Cave. The 999 steps are steep, but there is also an escalator inside the mountain if you want to save your energy. Overall, it is a breath taking destination and a must-visit in Zhangjiajie . Highly recommended.
Absolutely amazing! From start to finish, everything was incredible—views, cable car, the skywalks. Be ready for lots of walking, but every step is worth it. One of the best experiences in China for sure!
The experience was good and the team helps over whats app. we did not get the day and time we wanted but the guidance frol the klook team was good. They speak over Whats app and are extremely helpful and responsive. The redemption process is great as well
Bought the ticket from klook is cheaper and than purchase at the spot and you can skip from long queue, the redemption also very easy and convenient as you can present the confirmation voucher along with the passport then the machine will automatically remember the face, the view was epic and absolutely amazing. recommended guys
This place is so beautiful! You need your passport everytime where they check the tickets (this is everywhere in China I think). So don’t forget to bring it around when you travel China. I took route A, the cable is very long, about 20 minutes. The bus ride back was not very interesting, maybe we took a different route because of the rain. Route B is the same but opposite direction.

Tianmen Mountain, located in Tianmen National Park, is considered as the very soul of Zhangjiajie. It's a breathtaking sight, rising over the area and foggy in the distance. Get a chance to see this mountain up close, as well as take a ride on the mountain's cable car ropeway. This cableway is considered as the longest passenger cableway within a high mountain in the whole world. From the cableway, get to see the road leading up to the summit, considered as China's “Heaven's Gate” from the way it seems to lead up to the brilliant heavens above. As soon as you arrive at the summit, you can even walk through the seemingly endless winding paths built directly onto the cliff face near the summit itself - the perfect viewpoint for stunning sights. It's a breathtaking wonder no one should miss when in Zhangjiajie.
