After placing my order, the customer service contacted us to purchase tickets, arrange the itinerary, and coordinate pickup times and locations. The next day, our guide picked us up from the hotel and took great care of us throughout the journey, showing us breathtaking scenery. The express cable car offers beautiful views, and the walk along the "Path to Heaven" and Tianmen Cave is so impressive. During our visit, some cable car routes were under scheduled repair. This may affect the routes. On icy days, they may be suspended. The 999 steps may also be closed. This does not depend on the tour or the guide. Recommendations: * Check the forecast for the day of your tour * Wear appropriate footwear * Have patience and flexibility with itinerary changes Despite these unpredictable factors, the experience is worth it. Our guide handled the circumstances well and made sure we saw what was available. We don't speak Chinese, yet our guide took care to communicate with us. It is an extraordinary place, but it is advisable to go with realistic expectations about what the weather and maintenance may affect. Good organization and beautiful landscapes that justify the logistical complications.
