Auckland Harbour Sailing Cruise

This has got to be one of the most underrated experiences in Auckland. You get to sail the harbour for 1.5hrs and also, get a chance to drive the boat too. The crew are very generous with their hospitality, as they offer you snacks and soft drinks/juice too. Must do for anyone in NZ.

The Harbour Sailing Cruise was the highlight of my Auckland trip. The crew were extremely accommodating and friendly the whole time. I was a solo traveler and the rest of the group were couples, but they made sure I never felt left out. They were very game to chat and shared lots of interesting trivia about Auckland and the harbour. The free coffee and cookies on board were surprisingly good and made the experience even nicer while enjoying the views. They also offered to take photos, which I really appreciated as someone traveling alone. I was also thankful that they accommodated my request over the phone to move from the afternoon sailing to the morning trip. The booth of the local provider was also very easy to spot, so everything was smooth from the start. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Auckland! ⛵️

It is a very pleasant and relaxing sailing trip. After boarding the boat, you will be given a cup of hot drink + a pack of biscuits. For a while, the boat is floating on the sea and everyone is chatting together. You can also go to the bow and sit and watch the scenery. If you get seasick, you need to eat early. Seasickness medicine.

The day of the event was windy and swell🌊, the sailboat was tilting and the captain and crew were very professional, making it safe and exciting to sit on.

It’s very convenient to buy and use as you go! I only decided to participate 20 minutes before departure. I immediately purchased the itinerary on Klook. It would be better if there is a Chinese tour guide😄
