What to expect
Start exploring the best of Taipei and Kaohsiung conveniently when you get an EasyCard. Pick up your EasyCard at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport or Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH) and get to travel around Taipei and Kaohsiung with ease. Simply get your card immediately from the staff when you present your voucher. After topping it up, you can use it at more than a hundred participating stations, stores, and other services. Use it for a ride on the train, get some coffee at Starbucks, hop on the Maokong gondola, and many more. You can even get discounts at selected locations! With this card, you no longer need to worry about bringing cash around. Just pay with this card and you're good to go.

Eligibility
- Children aged 0-5 or with a height of 115cm or below can travel free of charge on the Taipei Metro and bus provided they have a valid ID and must be accompanied by a ticket-bearing passenger; each ticket-bearing passenger can only bring up to 4 children
- Users must be at least 18 years old to purchase a Chunghwa Telecom SIM card. Users who under the age of 18 can't purchase or redeem.

- Please check the service hours of the ticketing counter before making a reservation to ensure that it aligns with your flight schedule
- Eligibility for reservations: All passengers. If you wish to purchase a concessionaire card, please approach the ticketing counter
- The EasyCard has no expiration date and can only be used by one person at a time. For top-up location, please visit the official website
- Top up value before using your card, as it will have no preloaded balance. Approach staff at any Taipei Metro Station to refund the remaining balance of your card (If any) in cash once you're done using the EasyCard. A service fee of TWD 20 may be charged. You can no longer top up any amount in your card after this
- If your EasyCard is damaged during use, please contact the EasyCard Company customer service hotline at (02)412-8880 or bring your EasyCard to the inquiry counter at Taipei Metro stations for further assistance and replacement
Chunghwa SIM Card Usage Information
- This SIM card is only valid for use in Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu regions
- Within the valid period, this card can be used to top up call credits at convenience stores such as 7-Eleven and Family Mart throughout Taiwan (Minimum top-up amount is TWD 300). If the top-up amount is not fully utilized within the valid period, it is non-refundable
- The usable SIM card sizes for Chunghwa Telecom SIM cards are the triple-cut SIM card (Compatible with Normal, Micro, and Nano sizes). It supports the following frequency bands: FDD B1/3/7/8 (2100/1800/2600/900 MHz). It is compatible with devices such as smartphones and tablets, and can be used for mobile hotspot sharing
- Based on network connection quality and fair usage policy, the telecommunications company reserves the right to limit the data usage of users who consume a large amount of data within a short period of time, without prior notice
- Your mobile device must support SIM card insertion and removal, and it should not be a telecom-customized or locked device. Please note that if you encounter compatibility issues or are unable to use the SIM card due to personal device limitations, refunds cannot be granted
Chunghwa Telecom SIM Card Redemption Guidelines
- Each person is limited to purchasing one SIM card, and each identification document can only be used to apply for one Taiwan phone number
- Users must be at least 18 years old to purchase a Chunghwa Telecom SIM card. Users who under the age of 18 can't purchase or redeem.
- Please note that one child seat is equivalent to one passenger

- Downtown Bus: Available in Taipei City, New Taipei City, Keelung City, Taichung City, Yilan County, Matsu and Tainan City
- YouBike/T-Bike/C-Bike: Available in Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Changhua, Tainan, and Kaohsiung
- Attractions and Shops: Available for 7-11, Family Mart, OK Mart, Starbucks, Cosmed, Watsons, Taipei Zoo, and Maokong Gondola
- Maokong Gondola: Enjoy a TWD 20 discount on weekdays

it’s very easy to book and find this once you reach arrival hall, just turn left and you would find the shop at the last. the process was even more smoother, they assisted within 5 minutes and handed over my easy card for my travel within the city as well.
