Reviews
We booked this tour last minute as we have family from the US visiting Thailand for the first time. We wanted to give them the full Thai experience and this tour did just that. Our guide picked us up from our hotel and drove us to Pa-La- U falls where he guided us to 4 of the 15 levels of the trek which resulted in beautiful views and serene surroundings. We were able to feed the carp with the food that was provided to us which was a fun experience. After the tour he took us to Coffee Meekao for phenomenal Pad Thai with the largest and freshest river prawns. On the way back we made stops to the pineapple plantation then he picked up fresh pineapple to tie in the story of how it’s farmed and what the final result is. To top it off he had one more stop for some fresh fried bananas which was super delicious. Our guide and the tour is highly recommended!
The waterfall itself is not big. According to the explanation, there are 15 levels. Mountain climbing tests your physical fitness, balance and climbing skills. After driving into the national park, you can see wild boars and pigs along the way; during the climb, butterflies are flying, and fish gather in the mountain streams waiting for tourists to feed them. It is a pity that only after reaching the fifth level, entry to the sixth level and above is prohibited. .
Great tour, it was soo beautyfull and our guide had a great knowledge.
I am very satisfied with the one-day trip to P-La-U Waterfall. The transportation service is good, the reception is warm on time, the tour guide service level is good, the attractions are introduced in detail, the itinerary is reasonable, the attractions are also beautiful, interesting and fun, this is an indescribable trip. Will come again if I have the chance.
It is a very good trip to experience how great the nature is! Although it is not raining season with less water in waterfall. It’s still amazing and trial is more easy to handle.
it was raining on the day of our hike. the guide, Mr Noi was very good. he was very attentive and guiding our 12 and 16 year old girls carefully. the rocks were very slippery, he ensures the safety of the kids first. overall we all had a very good time. i recommend this to any family with kids. good experience
The guide was very kind! He said he had plenty of time, so he stopped by several places on the way to the national park and visited Hua Hin. thank you. The weather was nice and hot, but it was great! The path to the waterfall is quite tough, but you will be impressed by the magnificent waterfall that appears ahead. And you can swim there, so your fatigue will melt away! Swim with lots of fish. Lunch after swimming was exceptional! The dog in the restaurant was also calm and cute.
It is very easy to walk this way in the hot season, the soil is dry, and the stones across the river to the fifth waterfall are not slippery, but the water volume of the waterfall is not so abundant. In any case **be sure to wear sneakers or hiking shoes** It is possible to see wild elephants along the way to the entrance of the waterfall. There are many road signs on the road saying be careful of elephants; according to the tour guide, the elephant herd will meet at 6 o'clock in the evening On the road, they must learn to read the words and expressions, know whether the elephant is in a good mood or not, and avoid provoking the elephant. The journey including lunch will take only 5 hours to reach downtown Hua Hin. The itinerary may be given 4 points, but the tour guide Noi is the best Thai person I met during this trip in Thailand. He told us a lot of stories about Thailand, one more The star is for him.
Above expectations. Saw a wild elephant on the way there, the national park was extremely clean, kids loved feeding the fish, waterfall was beautiful. Need good walking shoes, was a short but moderate difficulty hike. Lunch had good view of mountains. Guide was experienced and attentive.
our guide was fenomenal! we had the best time and a wonderful lunch with the perfect jungle view and delicious food.
