Aquamarine 2D1N Cruise: Ha Long Bay, Sung Sot, Ti Top

Pick-up acknowledgement was very last minute, we'd had to try various ways to reach them. My bad too, waited too late and contacted them the day before. Amazing cruise experience, very friendly and helpful staff. Room and views were awesome. The interior seems to be more posh compared to other cruises? Activities like cave visitation and 'hiking' were a little rushed, but on average, we still got our photos and the experience.

When the order is placed, you will receive a notification to provide hotel pick-up and drop-off information in Hanoi, but there is no other contact information, so you directly contact Klook customer service to convey the hotel pick-up information. Before then, you will not receive the driver’s license plate or contact information. The driver picked us up 20 minutes early that day, but our luggage had not been packed yet, so the driver went to pick up others and then returned to pick us up. There was a souvenir shop in the middle of the pier. The toilets were very clean and there was no forced consumption. , after arriving at the pier, the driver will roll call and place the passengers one by one at the pier of each cruise ship. As soon as you enter, you can directly report your name and check in, and then wait for boarding at noon. The yacht manager can understand English very well, and the service staff on the entire ship are also very polite. The actual room is actually much older than the photo, but overall It was clean, and the itinerary was based on the itinerary on klook. However, the only drawback was that there was a Tai Chi itinerary the next morning. As a result, everyone got up early, but the manager in charge overslept and let everyone go. There was no explanation or apology, which was quite shocking. On the return trip, there was no information about the driver who would come to pick me up, so I could only sit at the counter and wait, not knowing when the driver would come to pick me up. It would take about 30 minutes to arrive. It doesn't wait for half an hour, and you can only sit there and wait for the roll call. Personally, I feel very unsafe. besides. The food is not delicious, it can only be eaten, so don’t expect too much. Overall, if it’s your first time to Halong Bay and you want to see the scenery, you can see everything in this itinerary, so you won’t be too disappointed. , but if you want to take a luxury cruise itinerary, this itinerary will not be your first choice.

In fact, the itinerary in Halong Bay is similar, but when I boarded the boat, I noticed other boats and felt that our boat was of better quality, and the food and service were above average.

Visiting Halong Bay on this 2D1N cruise allowed us to take in and enjoy the amazing scenery (sunset, sunrise, multiple islands etc) at a leisurely and relaxed pace. Activities on the cruise were interesting e.g. cooking demonstration, squid fishing, and we definitely enjoyed the itinerary (Sungsot cave, Ti Top island, Luon cave - bamboo boat/kayak). Before the trip, I emailed the Aquamarine cruise team directly (using the email address on their official page) to inform them of our Klook booking and Hanoi hotel address for the hotel pick up as we could not submit it when booking the package on Klook - suggest the team to look into updating the fields in the booking form on klook. The team responded quickly (within 1-2 days) so we were able to confirm the hotel pick up arrangement with them before our trip. In terms of cruise facilities, we went during summer when the weather was super hot and humid (think temperature hit 37 degrees Celsius at one point) and our cabin room was also warm in the day even though we turned on the aircon (it was as if the aircon was not working) so it might be better to visit during cooler periods. Good thing about visiting in summer was that it did not rain so activities/itinerary could proceed as planned. The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom comes with a great window view. What truly shined on this trip, besides the beautiful scenery at Halong Bay, was the kind and attentive hospitality and service by the cruise crew. Special compliments to Tom the cruise manager for being so friendly and cheery and always tried to joke and converse with us in English to make sure we were settling in comfortably and also got us excited about the upcoming activities. Food was buffet style other than the Western 5-course (?) dinner on the first night. We really enjoyed the silk gourd and spinach soup which was a surprisingly simple and homely dish that we got to try for the first time. Overall, a great Halong Bay cruise experience with Aquamarine, thanks to the cruise crew!

The meet up point is already in the wilderness, so you need to find a car to get there. If you want to experience being in prison, you can pay to enter. I really regret wasting more than a day to arrive in a group. If you want to ask for something like this, I would like to have a sea view.
