Reviews
An incredibly exciting and interesting experience. Everything was perfectly prepared and thought out - we were the only ones in the class, a very nice girl told us interesting facts, answered all the questions, took photos and even gave me a small gift. In addition, we were able to make our own kimchi pancakes. In the end, we received a beautiful recipe and bottles of Makgeolli. It was one of the best experiences during my stay in Korea. Thank you for the knowledge, now I will try to cook it at home 😄I’m 200 percent recommending this class to visit
Providee was accommodated our request to change session to another day as our flight was cancelled due to heavy snow. interesting experience making makgeolii and korean snacks. the makgeolli was the best I have ever tasted.
The teacher was great. We learned a little about Korean 술 (alcohol) and drank a little too! If you like brewery tours and winery tours this is a step up!
Serie was very patient and welcoming. She was very happy to share her knowledge regarding the traditions and background history of makgeolli. She also shared her experiences with us
The lecture part was clear as well as informative. I enjoyed the process and tasting the finished spirits. I will make my own when I return from my trip. Highly recommend this adventure!
Had a wonderful time learning Makgeolli + kimchi pancake...Trainer is very knowledgeable and friendly. A very good experience and bonding time for us. 👍
great experience learning about the background of makgeolli. The host was great and very informative. We enjoyed making the makgeoli along with the kimchi pancakes. we got to sample the different aging stages of the makgeoli also and go to take home a bottle since we would not be in Seoul long enough go take our own home. overall great experience and would defend recommend it. I’m excited to go home and make my own.
its fun. we learn how to make a makgeolli and korean snack like topokki. the makgeolli we made will be fermented by them, and they will give us the one that they fermented. nice activity to do while in korea.
This was a great class in a very cute space. The instructor was so nice; we were late but she was still so kind to accommodate us! The class itself was very fun and informative, she had all the equipment needed set out already and explained each step clearly for us, as well as the history of makgeolli and the snacks that usually go with it. After making our makgeolli, she gave us tastings of different ages of makgeolli and it was very interesting to experience how a few weeks can drastically change the taste of the alcohol. This was honestly an incredibly enjoyable class and I'd love to come again when I come back to Korea!!
The workshop was really fun and informative! She was very passionate about Makgeolli and gave us historical lesson about fermentation. We got to try different types of makgeolli with the pancakes we made.
