Reviews
Even though the departure time from Hanoi was very early, I was able to visit three famous places in one day. The tour included lunch and dinner, and I was very satisfied with the course. Also, our guide, Mr. Tsuyoshi, was very fluent in Japanese and a very nice person. He paid attention to every detail, so I felt very safe on the tour. Compared to other English tours, Japanese tours are a bit more expensive, but it's worth it because you can learn and enjoy various historical facts in your native language. Personally, I didn't care for the lunch, but the bun cha for dinner was delicious. The tour ends after dinner in the city center, so you can enjoy strolling around the city afterward.
It was a truly fulfilling day, from the morning pickup to dinner! Especially the tour guide was always working hard and was the best!! I was staying at a hotel in the old town, and they came to pick me up at the lobby, and they taught me various things such as history, background, and delicious food on the bus. Of course, their Japanese is perfect! This tour requires stamina. It is quite active, so please participate in perfect physical condition. But if you think it's impossible... you can participate by picking and choosing, as you can take free time at the meeting place without participating in activities. Satisfaction level is 100 points! Especially the river cruise is the best. I wasn't confident in my physical strength for the last mountain climb, so I didn't participate and got a foot massage. This was also very pleasant.
We were told to meet at our hotel, but we overlooked it and ended up going to the Opera House. We quickly contacted the guide and he followed up and picked us up. This tour was great because we could enjoy Ninh Binh with delicious food. We also enjoyed cycling around Ninh Binh villages, and the ruins were impressive. The river boat ride was fun, passing through many caves. Climbing Dragon Mountain, adjacent to Mua Cave, was also a valuable experience. We were panting as we climbed, but we had a sense of accomplishment. The bus was comfortable. Our guide, Zun, gave us a good talk and gave us a proper guide.
This is a very fulfilling tour. Lunch and dinner are included, as well as cycling, boating, and mountain climbing. The transfer is also very efficient, with the tour ending at a restaurant in the city center. I was previously taken to a hotel in the suburbs on another tour, but I was dropped off at the very end, so it was late at night. If the tour ends at the destination, you can easily return to the hotel after dinner by Grab. One elderly couple did not understand the tour schedule well and were yelling that they did not understand why the tour ended at the destination, but this kind of tour was very disappointing.
You need some physical strength. You will travel quite a bit by cycling, but the bicycles are lighter than those in Japan. The scenery in Trang An is magnificent and beautiful. A local man works as a boatman, and there is only work twice a day because there are enough people. It seems that the wages are low and they rely on tips. I thought it would be nice if everyone could give a little more to preserve the environment. The guide asked us to give 30,000 dong, so we gave each person 50,000 dong. The last place was Mua Cave, but the entrance was flooded and dangerous, so it is now closed. Instead, we climbed a mountain with 400 steps, but the latter half was essentially a cliff. I'm scared of heights, so I gave up about 70% of the way up, but the footing was quite bad, so I recommend wearing shoes with good grip. It's slippery. On the way back, we ate bun cha and disbanded. Personally, bun cha was the most delicious food in Vietnam. Overall, it's a recommended tour. If you're satisfied, give the guide a tip when you leave. You can ask for advice during your trip.
I was very satisfied with our guide, Hong, who was easy to understand, interesting, kind and polite! It was great to hear about the history and Vietnamese people in Japanese, which I wouldn't have been able to understand if we had taken the English tour. It had been raining since the morning, but the rain stopped as soon as we arrived, and I was very impressed with the cycling in Hoa Lu and the snowboarding in Trang An that I was looking forward to 🥹 The lunch and the bun cha at night were both delicious 😋 The people on the same tour were all wonderful. I highly recommend it!!! Thank you very much 😊
Trang An is literally the land of Halong Bay, and the man really did his best for nearly two hours, passing through various caves of various sizes. I'm not sure about cycling before lunch. The bike is old and scary. The guide was fluent in Japanese, and I thought we needed a Japanese guide, even though it was a little more expensive, since we only speak Japanese.
The tour to Halong Bay on the previous day was so good that I applied for a day trip from the same tour company. The tour was very good, and the guide's explanations were very detailed, so I was able to enjoy learning about Vietnamese culture and history. I was on the move all day and it was physically tough, but I was very satisfied with being able to go around various places in Trang An by bicycle and on foot!
Lunch was a standard buffet, as you'd expect on a tour, but everything else was satisfactory. It was nice to cycle, and it was fun to see the scenery that you couldn't see from the car (you could also choose a mamachari bicycle, and the saddle height could be adjusted as you like). As it was about 10 days after the typhoon, the hole was submerged by the rising water, so unfortunately we couldn't go through it by boat, but we still managed to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The cleaning staff went around carefully in a small boat, and there was not a single piece of trash floating on the water. Thank you to Nagatomo, our tour guide.
Being picked up from the hotel and having such a fulfilling and active course was the best. The car was spacious and comfortable, and the number of people was just right, which made the course even more enjoyable. I really appreciated being dropped off in time for my bus to the airport. ✨ I would definitely like to use your service again.
