Reviews
The tour guide was very attentive, introduced the sights diligently, and helped everyone take photos. The snow scenery was beautiful, and it was a fantastic travel experience!
A very friendly and knowledgeable guide that made the experience very enjoyable! It is really beautiful and also extremely cold!
Dont put photos of snow and call it "the Lantern Festival, Formally known as the winter festival". There was no snow at Miyama, waste of time given how much our day and money spent on this tour
Good to know
🧤 Dress warmly! The village gets very cold at night, especially with snow, so bring gloves, scarves, and warm shoes.
📸 Bring your camera/tripod – the lanterns and illuminated thatched houses make for magical night photos.
⏰ Arrive early to join the snow lantern-making activity – spots are first-come, first-served, and it’s free!
🍲 Try local specialties at the roadside station or Miyama Megumi Milk Studio – their dairy sweets are popular.
