What to expect
Embark on a limited Kansai Kyoto journey that blends humanities and nature, departing from Osaka. Explore three unique destinations in one day, and easily return to Osaka with a private car for a time-saving and enjoyable experience.
[Miyama Kayabuki no Sato] in Kyoto Miyama Gassho Village Kayabuki no Sato: This is Miyama’s main village, boasting 40 thatched houses, the largest thatched house settlement in Japan. It has been designated as a National Important Traditional Building Preservation District. Here lies the essence of Japan’s traditional “Gassho-style” architecture, with layers of thatched roofs resembling a fairytale village.
[Amanohashidate], one of the “Three Views of Japan” Standing on the observation deck, the long sandbar stretches across the bay like a bridge to heaven. Under the autumn sky, the sea shimmers, and the trees on the sandbar turn light yellow. Every shot is a stunning photo that can flood your social media feed. For a more immersive experience, you can also walk along the trail and feel the pleasant sea breeze and nature.
[Ine no Funaya] Ine no Funaya, known as the “Venice of Japan” and the “Most Beautiful Seaside Village”: Over 230 two-story wooden boathouses stretch for 5 kilometers along Ine Bay. The first floor is filled with fishing boats and has direct access to the bay, while the second floor is where the villagers live. At high tide, it seems as if the houses are floating on the sea. You can stroll along the coastline to see the boathouses reflected in the sea, take a sightseeing boat for a close-up view from the sea, or taste freshly caught seafood at the small shops along the coast and experience the slow life of an ancient fishing village.

Enjoying every moment of today’s snowfall ❄️🤍 Watching the snow gently fall feels calming and magical, like time slows down just to let me breathe and smile. Moments like this remind me how beautiful simple experiences can be.
It was quite packed trip because the journey itself took so long. But already very okay to experiencing ine no funaya, amanohashidate and miyama village at one day. Our tour guide name Richard is a good person. I let him know that I’m pregnant and he make sure I’m okay and give me front seat. Thank you
"Excellent guide! Very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. The explanations were clear, and every location was introduced in an interesting and informative way." ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yesterday, I participated in a one-day tour of Ine Funaya, Amanohashidate, and Miyama. The overall experience was very fulfilling and smooth. For the Amanohashidate portion, we planned to take a boat ride and the Kasamatsu Park cable car. These two facilities and attractions are actually in different directions, so I was a bit worried about managing our time. Fortunately, our tour guide, Abigail, was incredibly enthusiastic, thoughtful, and meticulous. She proactively helped us confirm the routes and timings and paid special attention to our itinerary. Her Chinese, English, and Japanese are all excellent, so communication was absolutely seamless, which put us completely at ease. With her assistance, we successfully completed the boat ride and cable car at Amanohashidate within two hours. The itinerary was compact but not rushed, allowing us to fully enjoy the scenery. The coastal views of Ine Funaya were serene and therapeutic, and the thatched-roof village in Miyama was absolutely beautiful. The traditional houses and natural scenery were relaxing and pleasant, making every stop worth pausing for photos. Overall, this was a well-organized, highly efficient, and enriching one-day tour. Coupled with the guide's thoughtful assistance, the trip was even smoother and more enjoyable. It's definitely worth purchasing and highly recommended!
The scenery and snow-covered mountains were absolutely beautiful, and there were plenty of things to enjoy. You can enjoy various attractions such as feeding seagulls with shrimp crackers, cable cars, temples, and more. It was worth the money, and if you want to tour Kyoto from Osaka, I think it's convenient and good to use this product. Also, the guide was so kind and spoke Korean, Chinese, and Japanese so well that they explained everything clearly. I recommend visiting Kyoto, which has a different quiet atmosphere and beautiful scenery from Osaka.
Liu was a great guide. As a solo traveller, I really appreciated how attentive he was. He messaged the night before with weather updates and clear details, and sent reminders during the day on where to meet, which made everything feel organised and safe. He also gave brief but helpful explanations of the places we visited. The whole trip was smooth and comfortable.
A very perfect trip. Our guide, Mr. Liu, was very detailed in arranging the time and introducing the attractions. He also used communication software to explain the precautions, meeting place, and time in advance. The Ine boathouse was a fresh and fun experience where we fed seagulls and eagles 🦅 on a boat. The scenery of Amanohashidate is needless to say. The Miyama thatched village is suitable for slowly experiencing the tranquility of life. Highly recommend this itinerary.
Communications are clear and the guides are very knowledgeable and humorous. All 3 locations have their own unique characteristics and is worth a visit.
The tour guide meticulously explained each itinerary, added everyone's contact information, and sent messages to remind everyone of the boarding location and meeting time. The only drawback was the heavy snow that closed the road, and the Shirakawa-go light-up event was ultimately canceled, which was a little disappointing. However, overall it was really worth it~
Good to know
