Reviews
strongly encourage people to try out this. we looked the food, people, fun and most important the beer
Awesome food tour, must do experience in Beijing, food is delicious and you get to see close the hutong surroundings and get to know some interesting facts about the place. It's really worth it. Our guide was very nice and spoke excellent English.
The tour guides are very attentive, explain clearly, and have a generous attitude. Adds a lot to the whole trip.
Lan was absolutely amazing! She was very energetic and knowledgeable, she took us to some very amazing places that would've never found unless we were with a local. She gave us so much context and information on the food / drinks we tried. I couldn't recommend her more , she was the best tour guide!!
A very good experience. Although we are tourists from Taiwan, it is very interesting to chat with the European and American tourists who participated in the tour in broken English. The overall itinerary is not too compact, and we also eat local food. Highly recommended.
The guide is very knowledgeable but I felt that some places were not necessary, like the noodles one as everybody can find noodles in Beijing, or the BBQ place also. I suggest you add some sort of tea house or something sweet . Also I did not get any text as a reminder like in other tours I did, I did got an email but could not read as I did not have access to my email
This your is so fun!! We tried places we would never had found on our own. Delicious foods!
Great experience. A lot of tasty food. We visited four restaurants and one brewery. Wonderful guide Flower. It must be kept in mind that for this tour you need a good level of English, because in conversations at the table you will have to communicate a lot, since the participants of the tour mainly speak English as their native language. It was a little hard, but we tried)
Pro: Plently of food & nice to walk around with the guide through a hutong! Meeting new people and going into restaurants that you wouldn't normally. Trying local baiju & chill atmosphere. Cons: It's actually really really expensive for wht is being offered, even considering all the food + guides time. There's 10 people or so and the food offered, well lovely, is very low cost in comparison. Of course there's consideration for arranging the seats before we even arrive and other management fees, but i think booking via these third party websites have really inflated the price (not that I know how to book directly). We visited 4 restaurants, would have been better if there's more street food or small stall tasting rather than 4 big meals. The hotpot was disappointing and I think did not really show off chinese hotpot culture and food. The noodles were great, although a common dish that many tourists have already tried, but this was was particuarly good and was inside a hutong street. The bathroom breaks along the way was, fascinating, to say the least...a real, bonding experience.....
me and my husband had the most AMAZING time on this tour! teegan was an fantastic tour guide and the food was so delicious! highly recommended!!
