Great experience using Oberland pass to travel around Oberland district with first class experience. the train is always on time and everywhere in Switzerland have stunning view. For the best experience is able to catch the retro belle epoque train.
hassle free experience! worth the price when staying in the interlaken region and making day trips to nearby places. highly recommend for your switzerland travels!
The berner oberland pass is really worth it if you planned your activities against the pass. It might be cheaper to buy the pass off the sbb website but if there are special discount vouchers on klook then it might be cheaper. Do your homework and the trip will be fun-fillef!!
The berner oberland pass is really worth buying if you have the intention to explore the jungfrau region and planning your activities based on the pass itself. Lots of attractions are included in the pass so plan accordingly and you will get to explore the area effortlessly.
such a great buy, you can just hop on and hop off any trains and bus with the BO pass. just take note of the validity area
Coupled with the half fare card, this pass gives us great access to trains, bus, cable cars and cruises. Save money and hassle, highly recommended.
It is very suitable for tourists who want to spend about 3 days in Interlaken and Grindelwald. It can be cheaper with the Swiss Travel Half Price Card. The Bernese Oberland transportation card basically covers various cable cars and ferries in this area. It is highly recommended to take the ferry on Lake Brienz. The lake is very green and beautiful. By the way, to take the cable car to the Girls' Summit, you need to purchase a separate round-trip cable car ticket for the highest section, which costs 63 francs with the half-price card.
The pass simplifies travel in the Berner Oberland region, allowing for easy itinerary adjustments. Tickets can be scanned directly at some cable car stations, such as Schilthorn and Stockhorn. However, ticket exchange is required at locations like the Lenk i.S. and Zweisimmen cable cars. Popular attractions like Oeschinensee require a time slot reservation fee of CHF 5 per person, even when purchasing tickets at the counter without prior booking. The information in the app is inaccurate; Harder Kulm and First are not included in the pass and require additional payment.
Explore the Berner Oberland region with ease using this pass. Access certain mountains like Schilthorn and Stockhorn simply by scanning your pass, saving you time by skipping the ticket exchange. Minus 1 star for information that doesn't align with the official website, and for the additional 5 CHF fee for Oeschinensee reservations, even when made at the counter without prior booking. Overall, it's worth it; I discovered new places and changing plans was easy because the ticket covers almost all public transport within the Berner Oberland zone.
Paired this with half fare card for maximum savings. Easy to hop on and off trains and ferries as the pass covered so many attractions and travels! Only had to pay extra for the Eiger express to Top of Europe
