Aboriginal Art Workshop in Shellharbour

The experience begins with a warm welcome and a comprehensive introduction to Aboriginal culture, detailing the profound significance of boomerangs and clapsticks. Skilled facilitators provide detailed guidance on traditional painting techniques, covering both intricate dot painting and meaningful symbolic patterns. Participants will then engage in a hands-on session, meticulously designing and decorating their chosen instrument, either a boomerang or a set of clapsticks. Throughout the workshop, cultural storytelling enhances understanding, sharing the rich history and deep meanings embedded within these instruments and their designs
