Mount Batur Sunrise Experience by 4WD Jeep

This was the best tour I had in Bali! Spending a little extra money for the dual fun of hiking to the summit and a jeep tour was absolutely worth it! My guide, Gus Conk, is not only a hiking expert but also the best photographer! I was luckier than other hikers because I got more stunning landscape shots and beautiful Instagram-worthy portraits. Other hikers even asked Gus Conk to take their photos, which just shows how professional he is! My jeep driver, Adi, was also very professional; he drove steadily and was very patient in helping with photos! I highly recommend this 40-minute summit hike combined with the black lava experience for anyone who can handle a bit of mountain trail! Be careful on the way down as the rocks can be slippery, but the ascent isn't difficult, probably on par with the difficulty of a suburban mountain hike in Taiwan.

Nawe our driver was very experienced. we loved the ride up the mountain. The road was very adventurous. We will most certainly recommend to friends and family to come visit and use this service again. 3 person per jeep. The meet up at the base of the mountain was 4.45 and we made good timing for sunrise (about 6am). afterwards we went to black lava. very photogenic place.

Our tour was very fun and had a beautiful view of the sunset and the lake! Mana Putu & Jro Endrik were friendly and very helpful. They helped us take really good photos too. Would recommend this tour 😁

We booked the activity from the Bali pass so had to top up an additional 550k rupiah for a round trip from Canggu to meeting point at Toya Bungkah. Our pickup was at 2.45am and we reached the meeting point at 4.30am. It was about 18-20 degrees Celsius at that area and I would recommend you to suit up with long sleeves and long pants as it will cost you an additional 50k rupiah to rent a blanket. The jeep journey to Mt Batur was a bumpy ride and we had many good quality shots taken by our jeep driver. He was friendly and accommodating. After the sunrise, we was supposed to go either the black volcano or the riverside but we requested to visit the hot spring and they brought us there. The hot spring opens at 7am and closes at 7pm but we were there early so we waited for about 10 minutes and stayed for 1.5h to soak in. Lastly we were brought to the Segara Windhu Coffee Plantation. The visit was interesting and we had coffee/tea tasting before we shop.

Higly recommend my Jeep driver, Bidit! He was super friendly &went above and beyond to help me capture stunning photos and drove like a pro. He made me feel comfortable and let me enjoy every moment of the experience while also filling me in about the history. Will definitely book again

Highly, highly recommend the Batur Sunrise Jeep tour with 30-minute hike to summit add-on. The whole experience was so amazing. Just want to say a very big thank you to our driver Yongki, our Jeep driver, and our hike tour guide Wayan! Yongki helped make our transport to Mt Batur pleasant with a very smooth ride to and from our villa. Our jeep ride was also a very exciting experience. Wayan was our guide for the hike to the summit, and she was absolutely amazing! Please ask for her to be your guide :) She has been very friendly and definitely made the hike more enjoyable for us. She frequently checked to make sure we are safe, and also took many amazing photos for us along the way. We definitely encourage everyone to include the extra 30-minute hike to the summit, it’s worth it to see the volcano crater from the top!

The best activity in all our trip in Bali! Our guide Ketut was incredible and made our experience 100% better! 🩷 We will certainly remember this experience forever with all of our hearts 🙏🏻DO NOT MISS!!!! (really!!!)

What an unbelieveable experience! Huge shout out to both Bayu and Wayan, who were the most incredible guides! I did the sunrise jeep tour and the coffee / tea tasting and would highly recommend both! Bayu was the best guide and Wayan is the most amazing photographer and got the most amazing photos of the trip! Thank you endlessly!

fantastic experience and our driver Dita was great and helped us get amazing photos. The jeep was big and allowed three in the back. we didn't have seatbelts which meant you had to hold on going up the track which was not great, but it's a slow drive up. We also saw the black lava and that was surreal. would do again. Also worth going to AKASA for lunch afterwards so see the lava from above.

I joined the Mt. Batur sunrise jeep tour in Bali through Klook today, and it was an amazing experience! I’d like to give a special shout-out to our driver and photographer, Wayan Sugi. He was extremely friendly, punctual, and professional. His driving skills were excellent, making us feel safe and comfortable even on the rough mountain roads. What made the trip even better was that he also helped us take some incredible photos — with great angles and natural compositions. Thanks to him, we now have so many beautiful memories to look back on. If you’re planning to see the sunrise at Mt. Batur, I highly recommend this tour — and especially Wayan Sugi. You won’t regret it! By the way, also A big thank you to our driver and guide Komang Yus for making our Bali day trip smooth and enjoyable! He picked us up from Zendara Villa and brought us to several amazing spots including a coffee plantation, Tukad Cepung Waterfall, and a cultural village. His driving was excellent!
