- What to bring: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, umbrella, refillable water bottle, and bug repellent
- What to wear: Comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Wear shirts and shoes at all times
- Drone use, tripods, and standalone flashes are prohibited
- Parking: The garden has limited free parking. Lot A offers the closest parking to the admission kiosk, entry area, and the garden gift shop
- Guests are encouraged to carpool, use public transportation, or utilize rideshare services, as on site parking is limited, especially Friday through Sunday and on major holidays
- Most garden visits last around 2-4 hours. It is recommended to plan for 3-5 hours total, including transportation time, to keep things relaxed and enjoyable
- Dress code for Family Adventure Garden's splash area: Young children may wear swimsuits, swim diapers, or swim trunks here only
- Camera phones, tablets, and cameras without flash are allowed. Photography for personal use is allowed within pathways, where plants and collections are not disturbed
Accessibility:
- There are a limited number of wheelchairs available at the guest service kiosk on a first-come, first-served basis
- Wheelchairs and mobility scooters are permitted in the venue, and accessible pathways wind throughout the garden
- Shuttles are available onsite and is designed with accessibility in mind. It includes a wheelchair lift, space for up to 2 wheelchair users, and secure storage for mobility devices
- Shuttle capacity: The shuttle can accommodate up to 24 passengers, or 20 passengers and 2 wheelchair comfortably
- Water fountains are located throughout the garden, and bottle water is available to purchase at the garden gift shop
- Waste and recycling bins are located throughout the garden
Prohibitions:
- Smoking or tobacco use, including vaping and e-cigarettes, are prohibited anywhere in the garden
- Picking flowers, collecting seeds, harvesting product, or removing plants are prohibited
- Firearms, weapons, or portable music players are prohibited
- Bikes, scooters, skateboards, or similar wheeled devices are prohibited
- Climbing trees, rocks, or structures, or playing games like frisbee, football, baseball, or kite-flying are not allowed
- Swimming or wading in fountains or ponds are prohibited (Splashing is encouraged in the Family Adventure Garden splash area)
- Photographing people in trees, on rocks, or on structures are not allowed
- Special occasion photography: There is a USD 50 session fee which excludes admission fee. Please refer to the official website under “Special Occasion Photography” for more details here
- Guest photography and video permission: Paid admission grants permission for the garden to use your image, likeness, or recordings for promotional or educational purposes in perpetuity
- Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the venue
- Pets are not allowed inside the venue, with the exception of service animals with valid identification
- Photography is allowed, but taking videos and photos for commercial purposes, as well as the live broadcasting of the show is strictly prohibited
