Spa Experience at Mekar Ubud Jungle Spa

Given this price, the service is just normal. it’s located at very rural area hence the visitor is not a lot (can be plus point), however with that you will not be able to order taxi via Gojek / Grab, they banned it, if you are at the location, the only transport you are allowed to take to leave the place is via expensive transport that the spa arrange (if you willing to pay for it of course it’s not a concern). With this price, I would say the place is under maintained, the couches are smelly. With low visitor, it takes forever for the buggy to arrive too, it’s a huge place you have to rely on buggy to transport from lobby to spa area. Therapist is standard, I believe you can get similar therapy elsewhere with even lower price. I went for facial, end of the session they didn’t even provide sunscreen when the island is so sunny. the overall experience is just meh, unless you want to pay to have an instagrammable place, but you can get similar views in other places too
