Reviews
Fantastic tour and Marin as tour guide. knowledgeable and helpful and very friendly. thought provoking and informative tour of Hiroshima and then fun and entertaining tour of miyajima. highly recommend
great way to see the highlights of Hiroshima and Miyajima. our tour guide Rino was amazing! def recommend taking the tour with the hiroshima style okonomiyaki lunch, takes the work out of picking what to eat and it was delicious
The Miyajima tour was a peaceful and scenic experience, and I really enjoyed it. The highlight was visiting the iconic floating torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine—absolutely stunning, especially during high tide. We also explored the charming island streets and tried local snacks like grilled oysters and momiji manju. Our tour guide RINO is the best! she’s super energetic and cheerful, which made the experience even more memorable. The relaxed atmosphere, friendly deer, and beautiful views made it a truly worthwhile trip.
Rino is a cheerful guide who keeps close tab on time, ensuring punctuality. she also helps guests to take good photos and is always smiling. The okinominya provided for lunch at Miyakayi isn’t very nice to eat. But the oysters two shops away recommended by Rino were delicious. Maybe more choices of lunch can be given.
This trip was probably the best experience we had in Japan. The whole morning dedicated to the Memorial Museum and the A-Bomb Dome were overwhelming, really emotional and the impact was really powerful. In the afternoon we visited the beautiful Itsukushima Island. Highly recommended to get the trip with the lunch included, the Okonomiaki was delicious! The Shrine was massive and the view was breathtaking. And the best part of the trip was our guide, Momoji. She was so genuine and fun, you can see her passion for her job and she explained and describe everything amazingly. Her English was perfect, it’s the first tour in Japan that we actually enjoyed for real! Highly recommended experience, was unforgettable.
If you only have one day in Hiroshima, DO THIS TOUR!!!! Our tour guide was Rino and I can say one of the best tour guides we had during our Japan trip! She explained the significant spots with the history behind it all making it so interesting to learn about. She’s also so so so funny making us laugh so much throughout the trip! Miyajima Island is another wonder to see with all of the cute deer with the gigantic tori gate. The food that was recommended by Rino was 10/10 we were able to try everything on the list! I really really recommend this tour :)
This is a great tour to take if you are limited on time and want to see “everything.” Rino (pronounced ree-no) was such a lovely guide who kept us on time and together! She also was kind to take pics for us at the major spots. I really appreciated her storytelling and all the information she provided. She was also very hospitable. Our driver, Ms. Keiko was so good! She made sure to not speed past important sites. She drove safely and made sure we got to our destinations on time! I did the tour with lunch- the Hiroshima style Okinomiyaki was good! I appreciated that our food was ready upon arrival and we were seated immediately. The bus was very comfortable, clean and the AC was on full blast 😊 If I could provide any feedback, it would be that I wish there was more time for the museum. I also think one 10 minute dedicated restroom break would be thoughtful.
Marin, our guide was fantastic, friendly, engaging and informative. The first part of the tour was harrowing at times and thought provoking at others but overall so moving and shocking what mankind can do to and against one another. Lunch was superb, a great experience and great tasting too. The tour to Miyajima was wonderful and a contrast to the morning but very beautiful. We only had one full day in Hiroshima but feel that this tour is definitely the best way to spend it!
This tour is a great way to cram in 2-3 days worth of itinerary in 1 day. It may be on the pricy side but it does include a bus that takes you between the places on the tour, any entrance fees required at those places, as well as a ferry to Miyajima. The tour guide (Mo) was really charming and informative and made an effort to talk to each person individually about their time in Japan.
Fantastic tour! Marin explained the itinerary beforehand and thoroughly described points of interest throughout the tour. She even taught us a few Japanese phrases. Marin switched the itinerary around so we would avoid major crowds, and this made a huge positive impact to our experience. Marin had a warm and bubbly personality that kept everyone engaged. I would definitely take another tour with Marin! Great job!
