This should be a tour that every visitor to Japan sees. It was heartwrenchingly sad. The comprehensive information and graphic details was confronting. The presentation was exceptional, it was well laid out and easily followed through the passage of the event. As sad as it was I would highly recommend it.
My second visit to this museum. Good thing I got this pass through Klook, so I did not line up (always a long queue) to get the ticket. This time, I was able to enjoy the museum (yes full of tourists) because I got a translator and just paid hmm not sure if 300 yen. So, I recommend this too.
Could not believe the price considering how informative and touching this museum was. I thought the museum captured the actual scale of the destruction very well and the strength of the community to rebuild after something so tragic. It’s something everyone should see if they have the opportunity to, truely eye opening and so touching.
The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is a powerful and essential place to visit. While the exhibits are deeply moving and often difficult to view, they provide a crucial, unflinching look at the history and impact of the atomic bombing. The museum is thoughtfully presented and incredibly impactful. It is a profound experience that promotes reflection and a strong message of peace.
Magnificent museum, full of emotion! Superb museology. Getting an audio guide is really a plus. Also, come early, because the museum fills up quickly. It's really nice to have it to yourself, in peace and quiet, for the first hour. Do it without hesitation!
The Audio guide is a MUST! It was an unforgettable experience when I visited the museum. During the visit, there was this poignant feeling while listening to the audio guide from every exhibit inside.
Highly recommend. It was sombre, harrowing and deeply moving. All the exhibits were carefully and thoughtfully put together. Any and every person who visits Japan must visit this museum. it's message is one of great importance and must not be missed.
Very easy to book online, you skip any queues and have a specific time to enter. The museum is very touching and reflects the tragedy that occurred in Hiroshima. The museum's presentation is very well done and has been recently renovated. Currently, there is also a temporary exhibition of clothing and objects that survivors have donated to the museum.
It’s the most impressive attraction during my Japan trip from Hiroshima to Fukuoka. I felt depressed after visiting the museum. Wish the powerful world leaders receive the message from this museum and treat it seriously. Otherwise a new nuclear world war will be closer and closer.
Very comfortable, you don't feel the speed, there's Wi-Fi, and if you're by the window you can observe Japan's infrastructure. The crew is always attentive in case you require assistance. Ease of booking on Klook:
