Amazing experience.I loved my makeup the artist was very talented! I did take my own foundation just an fyi as I didn't want my skin tone to be too light. My favourite thing about the makeup was the lashes because they were individual lashes rather than a single one which meant it looked way more natural! You can choose though. I was very impressed with the hair as well! I initially thought it's all just one big headpiece that they put on but no! The lady put on around 8-10 sections of hair and kept adding more and more and the end result was beautiful. They also were kind to accommodate me for a later photoshoot as I wanted night time photos. Overall would recommend, you will feel like a princess!

This shop has many clothes to choose, I chose the green one. The make up is beautiful, and staff always adopt my ideas. The photographer taught me to strike the pose. The whole process is about 3 hours, very quick but high quality

This year, I gave myself a special birthday gift - a trip to Shanghai to take ancient-style and cheongsam photos. The itinerary spanned two days at different locations. Day 1: Yuyuan Garden ancient style. Day 2: Bund cheongsam style. The two stores I chose were Fangfei Pavilion (ancient style) and Xiaocanglan (cheongsam). I made the decision after comparing many options and reading reviews (Xiaohongshu, Baidu, IG, etc.). I am very happy that I did not have a bad experience. They are a group of young people passionate about their work. Because I wasn't sure what style suited me, the stylist showed me photos and discussed it with me. As for makeup, because I wanted something simple that showed my original self, the makeup was light. The atmosphere during the makeup application was relaxed and comfortable. When getting ready to go out for photos, they noticed the weather was wet and cold and it was raining outside, so they helped me put on a cloak to keep warm. The location for makeup, dressing, and taking photos at Yuyuan Garden was very close. I personally didn't think it affected my mood for taking photos because their professionalism and overall feeling they gave was excellent! Upon arriving at Yuyuan Garden, I had to pay for the tickets myself (including the photographer), a total of two tickets. Once inside, the park was very large, just like the settings in dramas for wealthy families. The photographer was very familiar with the location because he often takes photos there, so he knew which scenes would produce the best results. Although it was raining on the day of the photoshoot, it gave me the illusion of traveling through time. After the photoshoot, the photographer went back first. The photographer told me that I could take my time and stroll around Yuyuan Garden and go back later. So I put on my ancient costume and took some more photos with my own phone. The foreigners inside thought it was novel and thought I was a ""celebrity"" and wanted to take pictures with me too. After returning, the photos were also retouched. The stylist helped me take off the headwear, changed me back into my own clothes, and then started selecting photos. To be honest, they were really well taken! They looked the same as the ones I took myself without retouching. Even with retouching, there wasn't a big difference from my actual appearance. I personally felt satisfied and chose four more photos, for a total of 10 retouched photos (the original plan was 6 retouched photos, 30 original shots). There was an additional charge (320 RMB), but I personally still thought it was worth it. In conclusion, the overall experience was excellent! You don't need to arrange a separate trip to Yuyuan Garden; you can play there while taking photos. This time, I also caught up with the Lantern Festival, beautiful scenery, delicious food, and beautiful photos, multiple advantages, really worth it! I usually don't go to take personal art photos in Taiwan. This time, through travel, I experienced the ancient Chinese style of dress, wandering through the beautiful manor, and being a wealthy family's noble daughter for once. I sincerely recommend these two photography studios in Shanghai. When making an appointment, be brave and tell them your needs, step out of your usual style, and see your own beauty. It turns out that the little woman in my heart has always been there, and she is so dazzling! If you have the opportunity to come to Shanghai, you can arrange this trip. The cost is more cost-effective than taking art photos. In addition, they will not force you to buy anything and will never make you feel pressured. everything was so seamless! the communication with the team in wechat was efficient and friendly, they were very accommodating for any changes that i needed. when i arrived they started as soon as possible as all worked very quickly and professionally, so many beautiful concepts to choose from! my makeup artist was very talented and the language barrier was no issue with translation apps, everyone was very kind and patient. the hairstylist was also very talented! i had xiao ming as my photographer and he made me feel so comfortable and was very kind and talented! he was patient and helped me with a lot of poses and helped navigate such a busy area very professionally! photos were edited very quick and even the raw photos looked amazing! super worth the money and time spent in shanghai! such a lovely service and staff i highly recommend!!! ❤️❤️❤️felt very safe and well looked after!

The experience was perfect! Makeup and hair was done really well and there was a large selection of outfits to choose from. The pictures came out beautiful, I definitely recommend!

They are all very professional, from the make-up to the photoshoot and editing. They are also very friendly. Nothing to be nervouse about if you're worried that you don't know how to pose because the photographer will teach you and he is also very nice. Two thumbs up for these experince 👍👍
