What to expect

The first stop is Fuji Safari Park. Unlike traditional zoos, this is a super open ecological space where large animals such as lions, tigers, black bears, and giraffes roam freely in the grasslands. You can choose to take the wildly popular Jungle Bus for a close-up view and even experience the thrilling moment of feeding, with animals appearing right by the window, accelerating both your heartbeat and the sound of the shutter. When the weather is clear, you can also capture animals and Mount Fuji in the same frame from multiple angles within the park, maximizing the visual impact.
Next, head to Oshino Hakkai, known as the "soul water of Mount Fuji." The eight clear springs, filtered by Mount Fuji's snowmelt, are distributed among traditional villages. The spring water is so clear that you can see aquatic plants and swimming fish. Stroll slowly along the small bridges and footpaths, taste snacks and desserts made with Mount Fuji's spring water, and experience the most original Japanese rural life.

Good and friendly communication from tour guide and bus driver. Would have liked more time at the safari park but understand this would have made the day longer. Great spots to look at mount Fuji, very scenic.
The premises was Very nicely set out the animals all looked cared for but the only thing I wasn’t happy with was the actual Safari in the caged bus. The driver we had only spoke. Japanese did not speak English at all slowed down to allow us to have a look at the animals for like one microsecond and then just kept driving and then when he did stop he was not completely stopped. He kept revving the bus and it just was shaking the whole time so as a passenger a kind of made me feel a bit sick in the stomach and didn’t give you a good opportunity to take any photos so no was not happy with the actual bus ride through the Safari other than that the rest of it was quite nice.
