More about Nara Park Self-Guided Audio Guide Experience

Why Your Support Matters
- This is a joint initiative by Klook and Nara Prefecture to help travellers experience Nara with deeper purpose and connection.
- With deer numbers now exceeding 1,400 and visitor volumes at record highs, Nara Park – the natural home of wild deer – needs sustainable support more than ever.
- Our mission is to raise funds that care for Nara’s deer and the park they depend on.
With every audio guide purchase, you support Nara’s deer and home. Proceeds will support activities, such as:
- Deer Care & Protection – providing patrol, health checks, and safe spaces for expectant deer.
- Nara Deer Research - studying deer population, behavior, health, and history of Nara’s deer.
- Education & Awareness – promoting respectful interaction and deeper understanding of Nara’s deer and heritage.
A portion of proceeds will support Nara Park Tourism Regional Revitalization Fund, managed by the Nara Prefecture Government.
