Beijing Qianmen Street Half-Day Guided Walking Tour

wonderful tour with Jessica today. she was so thoughtful to text me the night before confirming the time and place. she was considerate the whole morning and even brought an umbrella in case of rainy weather. I loved her thoughtfulness to offer me hand cream after I washed my hands. the tour felt personalized for me. we went on a wonderful street and park tour and I tried some steamed buns and chaogan. I would never have been able to order and try it without her. she showed me famous spots and explained the history of the buildings. we finished the tour at a scenic spot, I'm so grateful for the time we had together and all the photo ops. I highly recommend this tour and Jessica was the best.

I am lucky today because I was the only one in Lisa's walking tour. Lisa was very knowledgeable on the area and was very helpful in taking photos. Overall, it was a very pleasant walk. Thank you Lisa!

Great morning tour of Qianmen Street with our guide Gary. He speaks fluent English and Chinese and shared interesting history about the street, buildings, and traditional shops along the way. Very informative and easy to follow. A great way to spend the morning and learn more about Beijing’s culture and heritage. Highly recommended!

Excellent tour guide Anthony on 23 December. The explanations were clear, well-structured, and informative, providing helpful historical and cultural context at each stop. The guide demonstrated strong attention to detail, was highly meticulous in planning and time management, and proactively ensured the group’s comfort and smooth transitions throughout the tour. Overall, a very professional, well-organised, and enjoyable experience.

We had a nice evening with Kevin who brought us on a walk from Nanluoguxiang to Shichahai and then to Houhai. he explained in English the history of the Hutongs, local food/snacks and also photo spots. value for money tour!

our guide Yaaasmin is really good at sharing with us the ‘hutongs’ or alleys around Beijing City. we really enjoyed our afternoon tour and enjoyed the sights. passed by lovely residential some hutongs where locals live and get to snap photos of lovely ducks and black swans swimming in the river meandering through the alleys.

Our guide Eevee was extremely professional and helpful she gave us so much (history)information. The tour was totally unforgettable and nice spots. It was much walking but we could relax and enjoy the trip. She also helped me to take the subway back to the hotel anx take some nice pictures. Very kind!

Yang was great. she waited for us as we were 15 mins late due to traffic. She is knowledgeable and shared with us the history of old Beijing and the Hutong. very interesting!! look for her if you need a guide. She speaks good English.
