What to expect
This one-day tour takes you from the retro charm of Kamakura to the modern scenery of Yokohama, allowing you to visit famous anime scenes and relax with beautiful views. The pace is just right, and it's a fulfilling day!
The first stop is Enoshima Island. This place is not only a famous cultural landmark in Kanagawa, but its coastal scenery is also absolutely stunning. Take a walk along the sea breeze, and every photo you take will be a fresh, Japanese-style shot.
Upon arriving in Kamakura, you must experience the Enoden train! Its route covers most of Kamakura's famous attractions, and you can also enjoy the beautiful Shonan coast scenery. Get off the train and head straight to Kamakura Koko-mae Station. Standing at the intersection, you can capture the classic scene from the anime, full of youthful memories. Next, visit Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, with its vermilion torii gate and ancient shrine. Walking on the stone path creates a special Japanese atmosphere, and you can also browse the surrounding small shops and buy some unique souvenirs.
The Osanbashi Pier at Yokohama Port, Japan, is an iconic landmark of Yokohama Port. It is located in the core area of Yokohama's waterfront, adjacent to famous attractions such as the Red Brick Warehouse and Minato Mirai. You can get a close-up view of luxury cruise ships and also overlook the panoramic view of Yokohama Port. It is a popular spot for watching sunsets and night views.
You can also choose to take the aerial cable car to overlook the entire Yokohama Port. On a clear day, you can even see the distant sea, offering a super wide view. Then, take the Yokohama Cosmo World Ferris Wheel. When you reach the highest point, the city scenery below and the sea merge into one. If you go in the evening, you might even catch the sunset, which is super romantic. Finally, explore the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. The old buildings have been transformed into a cultural and creative district with restaurants. You can take retro-style photos and find a place to sit down and eat something, experiencing the artistic atmosphere of Yokohama! Note: The total time spent at these attractions in the Yokohama area is 2.5 hours. This is a self-guided tour, and you can arrange your visit freely according to your preferences. it was a great experience! for us, this was more worth it than our mt fuji tour! our bus driver was very good, and our tour guide Shu was superb! he speaks many languages so dont hesitate to ask him. he is also very friendly and knowledgeable, but he also walks fast so beware if you are a slow walker lol.
I've always wanted to visit Enoshima, so I signed up for this tour, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Our tour guide, Jiang Bin/Edward, didn't just tell us when it was time to get on the bus; he also shared the cultural background and historical stories of each upcoming attraction. You could really feel his extensive knowledge and dedication, which I'd rate 100%. After his explanations, the stories behind the places we visited became much clearer. If you have the chance, I truly recommend this tour, and our guide, Jiang, as well!
Our tour guide, Alex, was very attentive. Each time we boarded and disembarked, he would individually message each group with the necessary information and also inform everyone in the group about things to be aware of. However, this itinerary requires a fair bit of walking. Everyone should allow a little extra time to descend from the lighthouse after seeing it on Enoshima.
Our guide is very fluent in English, helpful and on time, managed the tour very well. the weather is so nice, it was a smooth journey from kamakura to yokohama. we had a great time.
Our tour guide explained all the attractions in great detail. The scenery was beautiful, and the food was delicious. Kamakura, Hachimangu Shrine, Kamakura High School Station, Enoshima, and Yokohama—this day trip is highly recommended.
KO is a nice guide, he gives repeated information to us group by group so he doesnt need to shout infront of the large amount of people in the bus. Trip is great, only it should consider Kamakura train stop longer, we were only given about 15 minutes to wait for the train and take picture. While for enoden shrine duration, this can be reduced.
This was our first experience with Klook and it was a memorable one. Especially the tour guide JACK made it really cool. He could speak English very well alongwith Chinese and Japanese. Our tour guide Shu was very knowledgeable and professional. We learned a lot about Japanese culture and history from his narrative. He was fluent in both Chinese and English. He also helped us taking pictures.
During this trip, our guide, Xiao Hu, was very attentive and constantly reminded us, concerned we might fall behind. It was a very relaxed itinerary, though I'd suggest allocating a bit more time for Kamakura.
