What to expect

Embark on a spring-limited journey to experience the stunning cherry blossom scenery of Saga, Kyushu, in one convenient trip. Stroll through the cherry blossom-filled path of Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, and pray for academic success and wish fulfillment in the ancient shrine. Visit Yutoku Inari Shrine, one of Japan's three major Inari shrines, where vermilion torii gates stretch along the mountain, and the ancient shrine and cherry blossoms complement each other like a painting. Explore the lesser-known secret spot, Oouo Shrine, and witness the dreamy underwater torii gate standing silently on the sea surface, with cherry blossoms, sea views, and shrines in the same frame, creating a tranquil and picturesque scene. Then, deeply explore Mifuneyama Rakuen and Asahigaoka Park, where nearly 2,000 cherry trees bloom like snow. The popular heart-shaped cherry tree, ancient stone walls, and cherry blossom snowstorms are all within sight. Fulfill your wishes, enjoy the scenery, take photos, and stroll around, immersing yourself in Kyushu's most touching spring romance.

The Arita Porcelain Park's palace architecture is magnificent and spectacular. It is recommended to take a full panoramic shot from the front to highlight its European style.

The Takeo Onsen Romon Gate is an iconic building designed by Kingo Tatsuno. The vermilion gate is particularly striking against the blue sky. I recommend standing in front of the main gate and shooting from a low angle for a spectacular image.

Mifuneyama Rakuen is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Kyushu, with approximately 2,000 cherry trees. You can enjoy matcha and Japanese sweets at the Japanese tea house and admire the "heart-shaped cherry tree."
The Oouo Shrine's torii gate in the sea is especially mysterious in the tide. It is recommended to shoot in the early morning, with the torii gate and the rising sun in the same frame, creating a very shocking picture.

Although the weather wasn't great that day, it was a small group, which created a wonderful atmosphere. Our tour guide, Li Jing, provided rich explanations and shared many interesting facts about Japan, making everyone feel very happy.

Review for: One-Day Tour of Saga's Top Attractions

The low review is not based on the places visited, which were very beautiful, but on the service provided by the tour. This tour basically consists of transportation between places in a small and uncomfortable bus. The arrival was chaotic. Although the description does not include a guided tour, the guide (Yang Meng) explained extremely basic knowledge in Chinese and English; the level of English was low. While she was not rude or disrespectful, she was not friendly or charismatic, nor did she put any care or enthusiasm into the tour. Furthermore, she barely had knowledge of the places visited. Upon arriving at Takeo Onsen, she said that there were no private bathrooms and that we should ask at nearby hotels, when in reality there were bathrooms right where she dropped us off. The time at Takeo Onsen was very short (1 hour 30 minutes). I would not recommend this tour at all. It's low quality, the bus bounced a lot, and the driver drove very fast. For the price, it's not worth it. I would look for another option. I am not satisfied.
