Reviews
This was such a fun experience! The Instructor was so sweet and patient with all of us and helped to facilitate conversations between me (an English-speaking foreigner) and the other participants. She even prepared the instruction sheet in English and offered to use translation services for me :) I learnt how people use Bojagi in various real-life situations (and not just for decorative purposes, like I amateurishly thought before my class). Instructions were clear and the instructor was with us every step of the way. 100% would recommend this experience for a people who want to do a creative activity AND bring back a piece of Korea's rich culture with you.
Dear Valued Customer, Thank you so much for your kind review. We’re truly happy that you enjoyed experiencing the beauty of Bojagi wrapping. If you visit us again, you might also enjoy trying our mother-of-pearl craft or making a Bojagi bag for a photo shoot at Sehwa Beach. We look forward to welcoming you back and sharing more of Korea’s traditional charm with you.
loved our time crafting here, we both went with compact mirrors. instructions are very easy to follow and we were able to go at our own pace! examples and ideas were shown though and if you dont feel you are as creative you will still manage to make a beautiful souvenir! the Bojagi was also very easily explained and looks impressive!
Our instructor was very friendly and patient. Even though there was a bit of language barrier, the instructions were still clear and we had no trouble finishing our craft. We signed up for the workshop to make a unique little souvenir for ourselves and were very satisfied with how it turned out. The bojagi wrapping was useful and we can see ourselves using this wrapping method next time. Thank you for the experience!
This was an amazing class that we all thoroughly enjoyed! There was only four of us in the class, making it small and intimate, and the teacher tried her best with English. Between her English and our AI translater earpiece, we held great conversations. She invited us to return in June but we won't be able to due to work commitments, but when possible, we will absolutely return for another class. We made norigaes and hand mirror. It was a really nice and relaxed atmosphere and activity.
We had such a great time doing this as a family! My children enjoyed this and had a great time. She is an excellent teacher and very patient, as I took along time to get mine how I wanted. Each of my children finished 2 while I finished my one. the gift wrapping turned out lovely! This should be a must do on your visit to Jeju!!
Would highly recommend this activity to anyone who loves arts and craft! The woman was Very kind and friendly. My mother and I absolutely loved what we made! We only wish we had books to make more pieces!
It was fantastic, if you want to relax and make nice souvenir connected with Korean culture it's great way to spend hour or two. Lady who run the studio seems to bee great, hard working person and we wish her all the best. thank you!
This is a great workshop to experience the Korean culture in a different way. The mother of pearl decorations were related to Jeju which makes the crafts even more meaningful and special. Helena was very friendly and very willing to accommodate English speakers. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Jeju!
I travelled all the way from jeju city for this workshop. It was a lot of fun, very calming experience making a keychain with mother of pearl and wrapping it in bojagi style. It's a great way to experience 2 traditional Korean crafts. Perfect souvenirs and gifts for home too! The instructor was very nice and tried so much with speaking English with us! Very clear instructions. Would really recommend this craft if you like doing creative things :)
Had such a lovely time with this class! The space is cozy and intimate, and very calming. The instructor is so kind and patient and is extremely helpful. Would love to come back and take other classes she may offer.
