The experience was a perfect 10! I learned to ski from not knowing anything about it. First, there was a 2-hour introductory session in the morning to learn the basic skiing techniques, followed by a 1-hour lunch break, and then a 2-hour session in the afternoon taking the cable car up and skiing down. The instructor taught very well; his name is Ah Xin. He taught me from scratch, helped me learn the basic techniques, identified my problems, and gave me advice. Thank you, Instructor Xin.
The Otaru Asarigawa Onsen ski trip was a fantastic experience, especially for beginners. The English-speaking coach was very patient and explained the basics clearly, which made learning snowboarding enjoyable and safe. The round-trip transfer was convenient and well organized. The ski resort had beautiful snowy scenery and well-maintained slopes. Overall, it was a fun and memorable winter activity in Hokkaido.
First time on a snowboard and I’m officially hooked! 🏂✨ Huge shoutout to the team at Asarigawa Onsen Ski Resort one day trip. My instructor was amazing—super easy to understand in English and stayed by my side all day. From falling every two seconds in the morning to actually riding down the hill by the afternoon! Everything was provided (except gloves), and the food choices nearby were great. Such a rewarding experience. Thanks for turning this beginner into a (semi) pro by sunset! ❄️🏔️
Just taking the bus here is nice too, traffic was bad in the morning and we didn't arrive until noon. There's a vending machine on the first floor, and a food and beverage area on the second floor. I ordered the hamburger steak and it was delicious, the view is very beautiful, and the ski resort is great.
Morning traffic was heavy, and we arrived close to noon. The instructor explained things very carefully, and I went from not knowing how to ski to being able to stand up. The ski resort was beautiful, and it was a very fun first experience. From choosing the ski suit to actually starting to ski, the experience was great.
The one-day trip was a great overall experience. Trip Highlights: 1. Convenient Transportation, Seamless Transfers: The bus departing from Sapporo Station was punctual and comfortable. The tour guide clearly explained the process, making you look forward to the trip as soon as you get on the bus. 2. Complete Equipment, Saves Trouble: Booking through Klook made the snow gear rental process very smooth, and the equipment was in good condition, saving us a lot of time and effort. 3. Professional Instructor (Took a Lesson): We signed up for the beginner's course, and the instructor [A Xin] was very patient and explained things clearly, allowing me to glide smoothly in a short time. 4. Plenty of Free Time: The itinerary was well-paced, with enough free time to explore how to ski more smoothly. For those who want to easily experience skiing, this one-day tour package is an excellent choice. All the troublesome details are taken care of, so you just need to set off with a playful mood!
Well commended ski tour with lesson. Kent was easy to communicate with English. He also make it easier for us to understand the mechanics of skiing. Well done!
First time skii-ing and this location is perfect because of the terrain and it is not as crowded as other resorts (from the videos and photos I've seened). Special mention instructor Ken whom was really detailed and clear when he teaches us from the basic. He shared many tips and tricks to maneuver and I really learnt alot from him. Had the opportunity to skii down the hill with him guiding and taking video so you can learn faster. Really glad I took up this activity during my time in Hokkaido!
We had Ken as our ski instructor. He was very patient and encouraging guiding us through each step tailored to our ski levels and needs. The chairlift was amazing and he offered to take videos for us skiing down the slope. The itinerary included driving ~40 mins to a ski gear rental place then another ~40 mins to the ski resort. Expect the lesson to take about 2-3 hours followed by ~0.5-1 hour of free skiing time(supervised). Suitable for absolute beginners.
Great one day snowboard & skiing experience. Thanks to Yang, Liao and team, the trip was well organised. We were informed of the itinerary at every time. Beginner can join without any experience or gear.
