Xingjing Zhangjiajie | Hunan Zhangjiajie Fenghuang Ancient City 5 Days 4 Nights

Our trip to China was a beautiful and memorable experience. Everything was well organised and thoughtfully planned. Our tour guide, Zhang, was knowledgeable and attentive, and communication through WeChat was smooth despite the language difference. The accommodation was excellent, especially the luxurious hotel in Aba Zhai with stunning views. The scenery was breathtaking, the itinerary well paced, our Muslim food preferences were respected, and travelling privately in a private car made the experience even more comfortable.

The itinerary was fully packed all the way, and the scenery was extremely charming.Thank you to the tour guide for the commentary throughout the journey; your professional knowledge is excellent and your service is superb.

This trip was truly worthwhile. Zhangjiajie is really beautiful, all the classic scenic spots were taken by tour guides. The tour guide was also very friendly, and if we didn't understand anything, he would use WeChat translation to explain it to us. The hotel is also very good. Being able to stay comfortably when going out is very important.

Loved every minute! Zhangjiajie’s Avatar rocks and glass skywalk were stunning. Fenghuang’s dusk lanterns, river cruise, and stinky tofu.Perfect. Easy to navigate, great vibes—10/10!

The vehicle provided was too small for the number of travelers. There were 4 of us, but they used a Nissan Sylphy, which made the back seat very cramped; we had to squeeze in. Also, the travel time between each tourist spot was quite long, with the longest being 4 hours. For such long journeys, a better vehicle should be provided, ideally a more spacious one, to ensure the comfort of the tour group. The itinerary should also provide more detailed information, such as how many nights of accommodation and how many meals are included. Some of the accommodations did not match the 4-star rating advertised online. The worst room on the trip was at Puhe, where water leaked out of the shower, and the air conditioning didn't work. The room was not ready for guests but was still provided to us. Only 3 lunches were included, along with 4 hotel breakfasts. The guide was very helpful, even though they only spoke Chinese. Some locations were quite far, so the itinerary should be better organized. For example, on the day we went to Fenghuang, we didn't arrive until after 8 PM. The activity was dressing up for photos, and while I enjoyed it, the timing was brutal; we didn't get to bed until 2 AM, and then had to leave again at 9 AM. There were also activities that required additional payment, such as watching the Miao tribe show.

Singaporean traveller here! Our tour guide 阿艳姐 is amazing, knowledgeable and patient towards children. She took good care of everyone. She went to our rooms to check the conditions each night. The hotels they arranged for the tour are decent but food in general is not great. The five star hotel for second night is the best because you get to see the sunset from the balcony. Note that it is more of 4 days of sight seeing instead of 5 days because there is no much activity on first day. But I like that they provided pick up and transfer at start and end of the trip. Also there might be some extra expenses not included in the original package: e.g. 十里画廊火车票，芙蓉镇观景票，charming xiang xi performance. But tour guide only suggested to include, she did not enforce. Other than that, I think they can improve on comms before the trip. The tour operator could not give us any details on accoms or transport or tour guide contact until the actual day of tour.Overall we enjoyed ourselves!The tour was good!

my husband and i have just returned from our trip to China, and the undisputed highlight was our five days in Zhangjiajie. It absolutely surpassed all our expectations. For anyone considering going, very nice

The experience was packed with attractions, english could be a bit better but considering the guide learnt on their own it is very respectable. I paid extra to go to the glass bridge as well

Zhangjiajie lives up to its reputation! The peaks are steep, the lakes are a deep blue, and every shot you take is picturesque, providing an immersive experience!

The scenery of Jiajie is absolutely stunning! The wonders of Yuanjiajie and the grandeur of Tianmen Mountain make you feel as if you have stepped into a painting.
