Review for: High-end Comfortable Accommodation (2-8 people, Chinese-speaking tour guide quality group)

First, regarding the hotel arrangements, what was advertised as high-end accommodation turned out to be low-end hotels. For the first three nights, we stayed at a Vienna Hotel that was dilapidated, with a terrible breakfast offering few options. On the fourth night, our room in Yangshuo was less than 10 square meters, and the breakfast was equally poor. The guide on the first day, Mr. Zhu, was fine, but from the second day until the end, our guide was Mr. Li, who was taciturn and offered no commentary on the itinerary; he was essentially just a silent driver. All the attractions were rip-offs. Especially Elephant Trunk Hill, where my fellow traveler and I, as individual tourists, were thrown into another group. The driver/guide didn't mention that we could explore freely; we were forced to follow an internal guide whose sole purpose was to take us to a photographer for two quick photos, then immediately rush us to print the photos and pressure us into buying them. Out of the entire one-hour visit, 45 minutes were spent queuing for photos, and 15 minutes were spent in the shop being pressured to buy them. Then there was Guihai Qinglan, which was just a completely artificial attraction built on a repurposed, abandoned golf course. I don't even want to talk about Gudong Waterfall. The Xingping boat tour, advertised as an 80-minute scenic cruise on the Li River, stopped less than five minutes after setting off to allow vendors on bamboo rafts to board the boat to sell goods and take photos for money. The boat was docked for over 30 minutes while passengers were taken in batches to the vendors' small stalls set up at the bow, where they were fleeced. Inside Silver Cave, everything was commercialized, with natural landscapes decorated with 'Gong Xi Fa Cai' (Wishing You Prosperity) displays. The Dong King's Night Banquet was an even more chaotic performance, and we were bitten by many mosquitoes. Then, the staff at the headquarters told me it would be best to rebook my high-speed train for 7 PM on the last day, saying the last day's itinerary would end at 5 PM. However, because the previous day's schedule was too sparse, the guide suggested we complete an activity from the following day ahead of time. As a result, our entire trip ended at 10:30 AM on the last day, and we had no choice but to rebook our high-speed train for 1 PM to go home, incurring significant rebooking fees. The entire trip ended on a very unpleasant note. I advise everyone to be mentally prepared in advance, or it's better not to book this scam of a tour!

  • The tour bus is air-conditioned throughout the journey. Do not leave valuables on the tour bus.
  • Due to the nature of tours organized by travel agencies, minors must be accompanied by an adult. People with disabilities, the elderly, and those with mobility issues are advised to have family members or friends accompany them. Those with poor health and pregnant women are not recommended to join the tour. Our company will not be responsible for any inconvenience or problems caused otherwise.
  • The itinerary is subject to many uncertain factors (such as the location of the hotel, the weather at the time, traffic conditions, etc.). Therefore, the travel agency reserves the right to adjust the order of sightseeing and accommodation according to the actual situation without reducing the number of attractions.
  • When checking into the hotel, please check whether the hotel supplies are complete and whether the hot water and air conditioning are working properly. If you find any problems with the room facilities or supplies, please contact the hotel service staff or tour guide as soon as possible. Guilin is a sightseeing tourist city, and tourists stay in hotels for a shorter time compared to coastal resort tourist cities, so the nature is different.
  • The meals included in the itinerary include breakfast provided by the hotel; no refunds will be given if not used. Main meals are handled according to the product's meal standards, excluding alcoholic beverages (except for specialty meals). Guilin cuisine is relatively spicy. If tourists have special requirements for the taste, please communicate with the tour guide in advance.
  • All attraction tickets included in the itinerary have been calculated based on discounted ticket prices. Therefore, guests holding military officer certificates, disability certificates, senior citizen certificates, and other preferential certificates, as well as other special status individuals, will not be eligible for a price difference refund.
  • In the event of force majeure or unavoidable circumstances despite reasonable efforts (such as traffic jams, rising water levels in scenic spots, policy adjustments, queuing due to crowds, etc.), the inability to visit due to return time, or special groups being unable to be received according to scenic spot regulations, resulting in some attractions or meals not being arranged normally, our company reserves the right to cancel or replace them with other attractions of equivalent value (if refunds are generated during the trip, all refund standards are based on the travel agency's discounted price, not the scenic spot's listed price; no refunds will be given for complimentary attraction fees).
  • (Yulong River Regulations) Those who are drinking alcohol, suffering from heart disease, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, as well as people with disabilities, pregnant women, children under 6 years old, and elderly people over 65 years old are not allowed to take bamboo rafts. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
  • During the group tour, if you choose to leave the group midway during non-free activity time, the unfinished portion will be deemed as your voluntary abandonment, and no fees will be refunded for the unfinished itinerary that has already incurred actual losses.
  • Regarding accommodation: The default arrangement is a double room with two beds, one room for two adults. This itinerary does not allow for room sharing. If you are traveling as an odd number of adults, please be sure to purchase 1 "single room supplement"; a room will be arranged for you alone if travelling solo; for three adults, purchase one additional "single room supplement" to arrange two rooms.
  • Tourists must pay attention to their own safety and carry valuables with them! ! Do not leave valuables in the hotel or tour bus! Please take care of your personal belongings during the tour. The travel agency is not responsible for compensation if losses occur due to improper personal care.
  • You must bring a valid ID card with you when you depart. If you are unable to check in, take a train, stay in a hotel, or visit a scenic spot due to not carrying a valid ID card, you will be responsible for the losses yourself.
