Review for: Beijing Forbidden City & Old Summer Palace 6-Day Historical Tour

This 6-day in-depth Beijing tour is absolutely perfect, with highlights including the Palace Museum (Forbidden City) and Old Summer Palace. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and patient, sharing vivid stories of Ming and Qing royal history and exquisite architectural details when we visited the Forbidden City. The grand vermilion walls and golden glazed roofs left us speechless. We had plenty of time at the Old Summer Palace: we strolled along the peaceful Fuhai Lake with willow reflections, and paused by the ruins of Western Palaces to reflect on profound history, blending stunning natural scenery with valuable historical lessons. The itinerary was well-paced, accommodation clean and tidy, and private transfers were hassle-free with no forced shopping. It’s an immersive journey through thousands of years of Chinese civilization, highly recommended to all travelers!

Review for: Beijing Forbidden City & Old Summer Palace 6-Day Historical Tour

I just returned from an incredible 6-day private tour of Beijing, and it exceeded every expectation. Our itinerary perfectly balanced iconic landmarks and local culture: Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, Mutianyu Great Wall, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, and charming hutongs. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible, making history come alive. The Mutianyu Great Wall hike with cable car was breathtaking, and the hutong rickshaw ride felt like stepping back in time.

Review for: Beijing Forbidden City & Old Summer Palace 6-Day Historical Tour

This six-day cultural tour of the Palace Museum and the Old Summer Palace was extremely rewarding. Wandering through the Palace Museum, the ancient palaces and red walls embody the imperial grandeur of the Ming and Qing dynasties, with cultural relics and architecture telling tales of a prosperous era, allowing an immersive experience of traditional Chinese culture. At the Old Summer Palace, the striking ruins amid elegant gardens remind us of a century of vicissitudes. The stark contrast between prosperity and decline is thought-provoking. With detailed guides and a relaxed pace, the trip offers both aesthetic edification and a profound history lesson.

Review for: Beijing Forbidden City & Old Summer Palace 6-Day Historical Tour

The 6-day Beijing historical tour visiting the Palace Museum and Old Summer Palace offered a valuable cultural experience overall. Our tour guide gave clear historical explanations of two core scenic spots, which greatly enriched my visit experience. The daily schedule was a little tight on some days, but we still finished all planned sightseeing stops on time. The vehicle service was reliable and clean. It would be better if more free leisure time could be reserved for independent exploration. If you want a compact history-focused group tour, this trip is a solid choice.

I was join for Klook multiple trip package on this time. Sadly to say that they arrange was mix and match other local china tour guide at China on this multiple day. Schedule and hotel set by agency without any earlier noticed eventhough you book the trip from early by klook. Money paid and no quality arrangement. STRONGLY NO recommeded select this multiple day trip from Klook. Kindly refer local travel agency from Malaysia if you have this budget.
