The theater is located in Taoyuan Grand Canyon, Wulong District, Chongqing, about 9 kilometers from Xiannyushan Town. The canyon is "U" shaped, with a height difference of 180 meters. The distant mountains are mysterious, the nearby mountains are majestic, and the ravines are serene. The choice of the theater not only protects the ecology but also provides an excellent performance space. The theater is designed to install approximately 2,700 audience seats. The stage extends to the stands, and the stands merge into the stage, allowing actors and audience to interact at zero distance.
The large-scale landscape live performance "Impression Wulong" features Zhang Yimou, one of the "Iron Triangle" of Impression, as artistic consultant, and Wang Chaoge and Fan Yue as chief directors. Over 100 distinctive actors perform live with genuine emotion. Through live song performances, 3D lasers, and various lighting effects, it showcases the profoundness of Chinese historical culture and reflects the resilient, unyielding, and strong-willed character of the people of Bashu.
The performance uses the steep mountainside as the grand backdrop. Through the heartfelt narration of an old boat tracker, the life of the Wujiang boat trackers is presented before us. It begins with an old man standing on stage, telling his grandson stories from his youth. In that era, things were not developed, and boats on the Wujiang River relied on boat trackers to move forward. Those boat trackers pulled boats on the river for a lifetime, lived on the river for a lifetime, and even married girls from towns along the river. The performance unfolds with the storytelling, with elements such as Chuanjiang boatman's chants, sedan chairs, hotpot, and crying marriages appearing in turn, allowing you to experience the distinctive folk customs of Chongqing.

Things to note
