Thank you so much! The driver is so kind. We really love this trip! No hassle and I can work tomorrow. ♥️✨
I initially got anxious because I was not yet contacted for driver details and its already a before the booked date. I called the contact numbers provided and they were very responsive. Driver then called to confirm in the afternoon. During the trip, our driver, Sir Glenn, was very nice, helpful and respectful. He allowed us to take control of our itinerary, especially considering that we have senior citizens and a toddler in our group. We had an amazing time with our Baguio Tour. It was exhausting but totally worth it.
We communicated with the guide and left around 4 pm, which wasn't bad. The mountain road is winding, so if you're prone to motion sickness, be sure to take motion sickness medicine. It's colder than Manila (like spring weather in Korea), so it can be chilly in the morning. It's a good idea to bring a light long-sleeved shirt. Baguio City is at a very high altitude, so the distant mountains and scenery were wonderful. There weren't a lot of amazing things to see, but it was fun because it was quaint and diverse. The botanical garden we went to first had many places to take pictures. The Color House has a different design than what you see in the photos on the tour booking website, but it was still cool. The way to Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto is about 250 steps, which isn't that hard to walk, but if it's difficult for you, there are parking lots in between, so ask them to drop you off halfway. The hotel looks like a haunted house, but there was a small promenade next to it where they sell food and handicrafts, which was nice. The view was good. The houses on the hillside were similar to the scenery in Bolivia. At the strawberry farm, the strawberry picking experience was much more expensive than the price of the strawberries, so we just bought strawberries, strawberry jam, and lettuce and came back. We spent plenty of time where we wanted and only looked at one or two places from the entrance and passed on them. We left before 5 pm and arrived in Manila around 9 pm.
Requested 27th, they said unfavourable due to weather. So i suggested 28th, they said they'll monitor weather. A request was sent via email 28th should be good weather. Wasn't and unforeseen apparently. Weather appeared unfavourable. Whilst on the intiniery, we saw only 60%. I questioned them and they said good day sir. Sent pics, does it look like a good day? so much rain!. And then they stopped replying after numerous attempts. Do yourself a favour, get Klooks happy guarantee as they were great to refund us back our money. Will definitely use Klook for any activities and tours in the future. But dont do this tour, believe me. Communication was easy to get your money, ignored after. Still havent got a response from this company for our bad experience.
A stressful and unprofessional experience – avoid this tour I booked a private day tour to Baguio on April 2, 2025 (Booking ID: NBF427208), and it turned out to be one of the most disappointing travel experiences I’ve had in the Philippines. The driver showed up exhausted and uncommunicative. He made several long stops to nap, including on the way back, and left me completely alone at every stop with no explanation or guidance. I was dropped in unfamiliar places without support, as a solo female traveler, which made me feel uncomfortable and even unsafe at times. Instead of a guided tour, I was treated like a passenger being driven from point A to B by someone who just wanted to rest. He also used inappropriate language in casual conversation and showed no sense of professionalism. We were done by 11 AM, even though the tour was supposed to last until 5 PM. I tried to address these issues with the company and received an apology but no refund. This was my third trip to the Philippines, and I’ve always been impressed by the country’s hospitality. Sadly, this experience was the exception. I do not recommend this tour.
Itinerary: We can skip Bell Church and Burnham Park. There's nothing worth seeing there. The morning's attractions were great; I hope the afternoon's can be improved.
