Afternoon Tea at Capella Bangkok Tea Lounge

I was struggling to decide where to go for afternoon tea, but I chose the Capella Hotel. The afternoon tea was served in a lobby lounge-like area, and the colorful Wedgwood tableware with cute savories and cakes was wonderful. It wasn't too sweet, and I enjoyed it all the way to the end. However, a group of noisy Japanese women next to me ruined the atmosphere... On the way back, I was glad that I could take the hotel's boat to ICONSIAM.　　

I arrived earlier than scheduled, but they immediately spoke to me and helped me out. I was treated very courteously and had a wonderful tea time. Thank you very much.

I used the restaurant for afternoon tea. Was it because I'm Japanese? There was construction going on next to us, with drilling so loud we couldn't have a conversation. I was with important friends and family, but the service showed a lack of consideration for the customers. I was very dissatisfied. The afternoon tea food itself was average.
