Reviews
I had such a fun time ink painting! Although it was my first time, Shigen was very patient with teaching my brother and I from the moment we began. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking to try something new while in Japan!
Rensui was a great teacher and very patient. I needed quite a lot of help since I rarely paint and she helped me lots and even helped me understand a number of completely new concepts. My piece in the end looked fantastic and I was very pleasantly surprised by the techniques. I would highly recommend this tour!
I really enjoyed the ink painting class. The instructor was very helpful and the materials were excellent quality. I painted bamboo on a scroll and was pleased with the result. The class was hosted at a tea shop and the tea served after painting was excellent.
This was my first time ink painting and I had a lot of fun. Shigen-san was a great teacher and even taught me how to write my first kanji💪. I am glad I got to do this during my trip.
I can highly recommend this workshop. I created a lovely lampshade under the warm and expert guidance of the artist.
