The journey begins with a departure from Paris by bus. After a brief rest stop, the tour reaches Omaha Beach, one of the five beaches where the historic Normandy landings took place during World War II. For an hour and a half, a guide will lead the group through this pivotal site, sharing insights into its strategic role in Europe’s liberation. There will be an opportunity to see the moving memorial sculptures that honor the soldiers who sacrificed their lives and learn about the key events that unfolded here on June 6, 1944.
