Then, at Badaling, he gave us just the right amount of info before setting us free to tackle those incredible, steep steps at our own pace. Today is Saturday. We joined the Badaling + Ming Tombs one-day tour. We met at Exit A of Chaoyangmen Subway Station at 6:50 in the morning and then went to Huapu Building. Our tour guide is Yang. There should be more than 40 group members today. Yang had repeatedly reminded us on WeChat last night that there would be a lot of people in the scenic area on Saturday and not to be late. Fortunately, all the group members were very self-disciplined and did not meet there late. We went to Badaling early in the morning and decided to take the cable car to the sixth floor of the north building at our own expense. So Yang had already charged us on the bus. After getting off the bus, he went to help everyone get the tickets. We lined up to get the bus to avoid wasting time. Our tour guide was very attentive and experienced and had rich historical knowledge. After going down the mountain at Badaling, we went to the pedestrian street at our own expense to watch a 50-minute old Beijing performance. It was very good. Then we went to have a group meal. The average buffet cost $30 per person, which was pretty good. After that, Yang took us to Dingling to visit the underground palace. It was magnificent. I was surprised how it was built back then. I immediately wanted to go home and open the history book to have a look. After that, we went to Changling to have a look. Because it was under repair, we could only look at the cultural relics in the palace. After that, we went back to the Bird's Nest to disperse... Today's trip was very pleasant.
