Reviews
It was very easy to redeem. They have a lot of options for ski suits (you pick what you’d like to wear). Gloves and goggles not included though. but the ski resort is actually very nice for beginners!
The platform's discount tickets are indeed much cheaper than buying tickets on-site. To use the purchase voucher, you must first exchange it for a ticket at the ticket office. Both of the Yuzawa Nakazato ticket offices can be used for exchange. After exchanging, go to the rental shop to fill out a form (basic information, foot size, rental equipment, etc.) and get your equipment. Both locations have rental shops, but the platform only sells lift tickets plus equipment rentals for adults. Children under 13 need to purchase their tickets separately on-site. It is recommended that children buy 5-hour lift tickets, unless the whole family has super strength and wants to ski from opening to closing. Otherwise, 5 hours is definitely enough. We rented equipment at both Yuzawa Nakazato rental shops. We felt that the equipment at the rental shop next to Lift 3 was newer and the skis were easier to get on. The ones rented at the other location were hard to click in, and it was difficult to put them on. Also, Lift 3 is suitable for beginners. If you purchase tickets and rent equipment through the platform, you must return it on the same day. If you buy for two days, you still have to go through the process again the next day and rent again. The advantage is that you don't have to move the snow gear around, but the disadvantage is that you have to spend more time renting equipment.
great ski experience and rental outerwear selections but it does not include goggles and waterproof gloves so don’t forget to bring
less crowded than other popular ski resorts but just as good. many option for rentals but googles and gloves not included.
#This was my first time. I bought a gondola ticket but didn't get a chance to use it because I was practicing in the beginner area the whole time. I feel like first-timers don't need to buy gondola tickets because you can't get up the mountain even if you practice all day (maybe it's just me). I suggest buying them on the spot if you really need to use the gondola. #Skiwear rentals do not include safety helmets. As a beginner, I originally thought it would be safer to use a helmet, but I found that no one around me was using one, and I was practicing in the beginner area the whole time, so the need for a helmet wasn't very high. It was also very obstructive, and the helmet cost an extra 100 yen. #The ski resort doesn't charge admission. If you have your own ski equipment, you can actually bring your kids to play in the snow in the beginner area. #Yuzawa is only less than a two-hour Shinkansen ride from Tokyo, which is very convenient. #The ski resort provides a free shuttle bus directly from the Shinkansen station, running every half hour.
It's very convenient to buy tickets with Klook. The process of renting skis/snowboards + ski wear at Yuzawa Nakazato is smooth. You can return the voucher when checking out or returning the equipment. Overall, it was a great experience!
Buying ski lift tickets and ski equipment on Klook is really cheap and convenient. It's really convenient to exchange tickets on the spot first, and then go to the ski equipment store to fill out the form and select equipment.
Renting equipment requires queuing when it's crowded, but getting shoes and boards is quick. There's only one style of shoe available. The board I got this time was on the shorter side and had some edge damage, so be sure to take photos beforehand to avoid disputes.
It was so fun to see so much snow, and attempt skiiing/snotboarding. For sure if you dont know how to ski or snowboard, pay for lessons prior to your trip or get lessons there. thers not really a lot of space for you to play and practice around without bumping into anyone who isn't take a lesson. There's plenty of space for slopes and space for kids.
The ski resort is great. It's cheaper to use a discount coupon than to buy a one-day pass and equipment rental on site. Suitable for beginner skiers. It's also close to the Angel Hotel.
