Himeji Castle & Koko-en Half-Day Historical Tour

Great tour with Nancy Sue. The rain added to the atmosphere of the castle and kept tourists away, meaning wait times where quick. (note transfer not applicable as we met guide at the castle). Recommend.

Rina was an incredible guide!! This was our first time having a guided tour in Japan and it was phenomenal. Himeji Castle has such a rich history and so many details that are easily overlooked/not covered in the standard guidebook provided by Himeji. She was a lot of fun to talk to and answered all questions we had. I think if you're also in a time crunch, a guided tour is the way to go because you'll really see the "meat" of Himeji Castle efficiently. I also appreciated that she showed us excellent, uncommon photo spots! The garden tour was fantastic and she told us much about the symbolism of many plants in the garden. Because of Rina, we will definitely be coming back to Himeji!!! I can't thank her enough for such a wonderful experience.

Guide was very knowledgeable on the history of Emoji and it’s castle. Since it was raining, she offered alternative options to continue the Tour day. I recommend.

The tour at Himeji Castle was excellent and very well organized. Everything in the itinerary was completed as planned, and the experience was both enjoyable and informative. Our guide, Nancy, was extremely professional, kind, and attentive throughout the entire tour. She explained everything with great detail, kept the schedule perfectly on time, and made sure we had a smooth and pleasant experience from beginning to end. She also went beyond what was expected by helping us with our next destination after the tour, accompanying us to the train station and showing us which train to take. Her kindness, friendliness, and attention to detail made the experience even more special. Highly recommended!

Nancy was a great guide, she was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was very interesting and the castle itself was breathtaking. Nancy not only knew the history but all the best spots for photos. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in history!
