My daughter and I had a wonderful time. The staff was very great and the history lesson on pearls.
My daughter and I had such a wonderful experience at the pearl bracelet workshop and pearl shopping experience. It turned out to be the perfect activity to escape the rain while creating a special memory together. The staff was incredibly kind and patient, guiding us through the bracelet-making process step by step. Choosing our pearls and designing our own bracelets made the experience feel very personal and unique. The pearl shopping afterward was equally enjoyable, with a beautiful selection to browse and plenty of time to ask questions.
I had an amazing experience at the pearl workshop in Kyoto. From start to finish, everything was well organized and welcoming. The staff were friendly, patient, and explained each step clearly, making the whole process easy and enjoyable even for beginners. Creating my own pearl piece felt really special, and it’s such a meaningful souvenir to take home. The quality of the materials was excellent, and the attention to detail made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone visiting Kyoto—it’s a unique and relaxing activity that adds something truly special to your trip. #papacomekyoto

A unique experience for whoever likes pearl jewelry! You get to choose your own pearls and weave them into a bracelet. With the guidance of the staff you can learn more about the Akoya pearls and pearls in general. The workshop takes place in the Tsukaki main store which is beautiful and also serves as a museum. I would highly recommend this workshop if you want a unique experience and an amazing souvenir!!
instructor: Extremely knowledgeable and polite. experience: Fun and interactive location: Very nice location with beautiful decor and artwork. lots of Instagramable photo spots.
This experience was one of our highlights of Japan. The hosts were kind and went above and beyond.
My daughter and I participated in this pearl experience, and we both really enjoyed it. The entire process was very smooth, and our instructor (who was Japanese) communicated with us very well. The only minor issue was that the selection of pearls was a bit limited, and the quality could be improved. However, I understand that Akoya pearls are not inexpensive. Overall, the bracelet turned out beautiful. I highly recommend that anyone visiting Kyoto or Osaka set aside half a day or even just two hours to try this experience. I believe you'll find it very rewarding.
Very unique and fun activity with my daughter. Also loved touring the museum to learn about kimono, too!
