Reviews
The trip is enjoyable and the view is very beautiful
The tour guide is not only proficient in Chinese and English, but also introduces the attractions in two languages in detail, and patiently explains the dining, shopping, photography and all the attractions related to Shakespeare in each attraction. Like this trip very much.
View of the English countryside is so amazing. Though it was a foggy day during my trip but still enjoy the view very much. Wish to come & join the tour again during different season. Bourtoun & Birbury such a nice place to relax & chill. Stratford is also a nice place where u can enjoy the town magnificent view of building & local shops. My trip was just recently so i enjoy Christmas tree & deco all around. Happy to get to know about Shakespeare's too.. Kudos to Von our tour guide & mr driver for a good & informative service. Worth every penny!
The tour guide arranged this time, Li Ge (French), gave very detailed explanations in English and Chinese, introducing the history of each attraction and the must-eat food, and also reminded everyone to pay attention to the time. The only thing that bothered us was the meeting point, which was not clear enough. I hope Klook can take photos of the detailed meeting point and provide it. It is in a big station, and it is very hard to find the tour bus. It reminds you to arrive at the meeting time in advance, otherwise the bus will leave.
Finding the meeting point is a bit tricky because there are many other tour providers with their coaches there. The coach are comfortable, the lunch provided are delicious. Our guide, Ruth are very knowledgeable about Shakespeare. At the end the tour, we also have 20 minutes for ourselves, and we get to decide if we wanna chill at the cafe in the small village or if we wanted to walk to the river, or just wandering around in the village.
Even though a bit rush, but the overall is good and enjoyable.
The rendezvous location is not easy to find, near the Coach bus station (not inside, you have to ask the staff) just met the Chinese and English group, the tour guide Ms. Danxia explained the life of Shakespeare alternately in two languages, really amazing! The Peter Rabbit official store is opposite the Shakespeare Center, anyone who is interested can go shopping!
Wenshu ’s favorite itinerary-Shakespeare-born town, the itinerary is beautiful! Super good shot! Although I signed up for the English tour, I missed the meeting time. Fortunately, the Golden tour commissioner helped me to switch to the Chinese tour. However, I was very happy to meet a superb senior Taiwanese tour guide, and also explained the modern history of Britain, the reasons for Brexit, etc. Great option for in-depth travel in the UK!
Because I stopped at many places, I didn’t stay long at Bourton on the water and Bibury. If I were to do it again, I would not buy tickets to enter Anne Hathaway’s cabin, Shakespeare’s classroom and former residence, because I am very fond of Shakespeare. I don’t know much about it and I’m not particularly interested. After entering the attraction, I wasted a lot of time listening to the explanation and lost time visiting the town.
The tour guide Dan is very professional and friendly. She explains every itinerary via satellite. She always has a sweet smile😊There is no sense of urgency in the itinerary. It is a very comfortable experience and highly recommended. In addition, the driver is also professional and very polite. He also reminds everyone to be careful every time a guest gets off the bus.
