- In the morning, depart from your downtown hotel and head to Prince Gong’s Mansion as your first stop. This former residence of powerful officials is rich in ancient charm. Stroll through it to admire the exquisite architecture and feel the history. Afterwards, take a car to Nanluoguxiang, wander through the ancient alley, taste authentic local snacks, and pick out creative souvenirs you like. (Expenses at your own discretion) Finally, arrive at Shichahai, walk along the lake to enjoy the scenery where the lake and ancient buildings complement each other, or relax in a cafe, leisurely experiencing the laid-back atmosphere of old Beijing. After the tour, the driver will safely return you to your hotel, or you may choose to continue exploring on your own.
- Option 2 (Shopping Itinerary: Prince Gong’s Mansion + Nanluoguxiang + Desired Shopping Spots):
- In the morning, depart from your downtown hotel and head to Prince Gong’s Mansion as your first stop. This former residence of powerful officials is rich in ancient charm. Stroll through it to admire the exquisite architecture and feel the history. Afterwards, take a car to Nanluoguxiang, wander through the ancient alley, taste authentic local snacks, and pick out creative souvenirs you like. Finally, accompanied by your guide, choose to go to popular markets/malls in Beijing such as (Xiushui Street/Hongqiao Market/SKP/Sanlitun Taikoo Li/Wangfujing) for leisure shopping (you can choose 1-2 places), and freely select and purchase items you like. Your guide will accompany you, providing simple explanations and suggestions for choosing items. (No hidden consumption, worry-free and free shopping throughout the trip) After the tour, the driver will safely return you to your hotel, or you may choose to continue exploring on your own.
