K-Pop Idol Hair & Makeup & Personal Color Analysis

I've been wanting to try out K-beauty but have no make up skill of my own. I went for the daily/photo makeup and asked for a very cutesy/feminine makeup look. Their English is limited but I had reference material ready. She chose colors that matched my features best and didnt go unnecessarily white with the foundation. The makeup lasted all day in August heat and humidity and I received a lot of compliments.

I booked this the night before so I arrived as a surprise to them as they did not check the Klook bookings that day. they happily facilitated me and was quite friendly. the session was done in English and it was not bad as the cosmetician lived in the USA before. I did learn some new techniques but not as much I thought I would. also make sure to ask questions as they sometimes even forgot their own steps. I got a very clean finish but I was also looking for a glowy finish. maybe it’s just my skin problem. I think this session is better for beginners

The shop itself was very good. It's on the fourth floor of an old building. Turn the corner from the main street where Coffee Bean is located and you'll find it. The name Akira is written on a gold plate. There is an elevator, and the interior of the shop has a gorgeous atmosphere unlike the building. The interpreter was very helpful. However, the reservation details were different from what was displayed. It said hair and makeup and color diagnosis, but it was actually a makeup lesson. The app is really difficult to understand, so I think it would be better for the shop to improve it. It's a shame because the makeup teacher is great. In the end, it was a great experience for both parent and child. I would definitely use it again.

I went with my mother. We made a reservation for hair set + full makeup. It's located in the middle of Apgujeong Rodeo and Gangnam-gu Office, so you have to walk there, which is quite difficult on hot summer days. And since we made a reservation at 10am, when we entered the store, they looked at us like "Huh?" There was a Korean customer there, and when I showed them my Klook reservation, they said they could only do it for one person. Still, we managed to hang on and negotiated for my mother to do hair set + makeup, and my daughter to do hair set. It took 30 minutes up to this point. (10:30) From there, my mother moved on to makeup, and I was asked to wait for only 15 minutes, so I reluctantly waited. Then, even after waiting for 15 and 20 minutes, I wasn't called, and I watched the staff and saw that they were doing hair set for the Korean person who had come before me. (It was 11:00 at this point) I couldn't stand it anymore and told the staff using the translation function, "I (my daughter) won't do it. Please refund me." Then, their attitude suddenly changed and they started saying, "At first they said they could only do it for one person, but they can do it for two people." They exploded with anger. I don't understand what they mean. I kept telling them I wanted a refund even though they told me through the translator. They said things like, "If you come at 1pm, I can do all the makeup." My distrust is at its max and I can't stand it anymore. When I told them through the translator, "I've been waiting for more than an hour. It's terrible," they seemed to give in and agreed to a refund. However, there was another problem there, and since my mother had already had her hair done and full makeup done, I couldn't use Klook's cancellation and told them I wanted the fee for one person refunded in cash. Then they said, "We don't have any cash right now," and "I can't go to the bank today," and "Please come back tomorrow." When I told them, "I have another appointment tomorrow, so it's tough," they said things like they'd transfer it to my bank account. So I decided to come back the next day and get the cash. I'm really disappointed that my plans were ruined and I couldn't get the hair done and full makeup I was looking forward to. This anger won't go away. The service was bad, I'll never go again. It's the worst shop.
