Seoul Hair Styling & Make-Up Experience by Rolling Jay

I had so much fun at Rolling Jay! The location is really airy and easy to find, lots of natural light and the workers are very kind. I went in with a few requests, lots of lashes for my makeup and volume for my hair. I think they did an great job with both. I worked with Director Jay, and he was wonderful and very gentle with my hair (which is quite fragile in my opinion). For makeup, I worked with Chad Won and she did a beautiful job. I did a more natural style, I feel like I look like me but better and more well rested. She used colors I never have tried before for lip and cheek and I really loved the outcome. The support team who did base makeup and hair shampooing were great, too and very thorough. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Seoul. I did it just for fun today, but it’s a perfect place if you want to get ready for a special day or photo shoot. also the front desk team are really sweet! they were good photographers and also charged my phone for me.

I had a great experience getting my hair and make-up done here! first of all the salon is quite accessible from public transportation. It was raining when I went and the staff was really helpful and attentive to make sure I was seen as soon as I got there. I had pictures of the styling I wanted for my hair and makeup and the staff made sure to match it similarly with something that fitted my image. Although my Korean skills are not good enough to communicate what I want specifically, the staff was really patient and even used phone translation to ensure we could understand each other. At the end of my hair styling, the staff was so nice and I cannot even begin to explain the dedication given to take pictures of my final look from different angles and distances! I also got a mini gift of sweets and it was so thoughtfully packed. I would definitely come back here and bring friends all if the next time I need my hair or make up done!

I had a great experience with Hyerin as my stylist. She was patient and helped to choose my hairstyle while adjusting to my hair volume and features. Would strongly recommend for people to try haircut here.

Stylists were accomodating and super skilled! From arrival to departure they helped me get settled and were understanding of my needs. I appreciate their patience. Only set back is I hoped they got Cut + Makeup option . regardless they mafe me feel bonita :)

They made me look really cute. They tried their best to speak to me in Japanese and even used a translation app on their smartphone, so even Japanese people can feel at ease. After my hair and makeup was done, they turned on the lights so I could take photos. I'd like to get my hair and makeup done again when I come to Korea.

I had my hair and makeup done first thing in the morning. There was no wait time and the makeup started right away. I used a picture of the look I wanted as a base and then chatted on Papago. The makeup was done very efficiently and well, but it didn't look too heavy, so I was very satisfied. The hair stylist spoke Japanese, so I had fun styling my hair while asking questions. It stayed in place all day and I loved it so much that I was sad to have to take it off before going to bed!

It was a great experience, the hairstylist was very attentive to the haircut. The environment is very good and clean. If I come to Seoul next time, I would like to go there again.
