Luang Prabang Mekong Cruise & Pak Ou Caves Cultural Tour

Loved the whole trip. Will give you a glimpse of traditional Laotian life. The Pak Ou Caves is super beautiful.

Overall, I enjoyed the tour, but there were a few disappointments. Since I visited during the low season, I was the only guest, so it became a private tour. My driver was friendly and even shared interesting information about the Pak Ou Caves, which I really appreciated. I booked the package that included all entrance fees, but I still had to pay the entrance fee for Wat Visoun, which I believe should have been included. Also, the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre and the UXO Lao Visitor Centre were both under renovation, but I wasn’t informed beforehand. The biggest disappointment was missing the sunset cruise, as we arrived too early and my driver said it only operates for group tours. Since these attractions and activities are listed in the package, the operator should notify guests in advance or provide an alternative. Overall, the driver was great, but the tour did not fully match what was advertised, especially considering the price.
