Discovering Hoi An's Charm by Bamboo Basket Boat & Lantern Boat Trip

It was great to experience a truly relaxing and healing jungle exploration on a quiet river, unlike the crazy basket boats where everyone usually gathers to do Gangnam Style. The wish candles were also a special experience because we got to fold them ourselves, write our wishes, and then carry them to the river, instead of just buying them off the street. Our guide was young and energetic, which made it fun. We received a reservation confirmation from "Big Boss," who turned out to be a really young "Big Boss"! I highly recommend this to young Koreans.

So much fun! The Hoi An Coconut Boat tour yesterday was a lot of fun. Gorgeous views, lots of laughs, and a really warm, welcoming guide. A great little adventure and perfect for photos with loved ones!

It was one of the best experiences! I took a day trip to Hoi An. I arrived in the morning and explored Hoi An on my own. I joined this afternoon tour so it would be easy in terms of moving around. A must try when in Hoi An!

It was an experience worth the spend. Bamboo boat is a real deal. There, you can witness how fun, warm, friendly and innovative the community is. They will spin the boat while dancing to the beat. The lantern and boat ride experience is magical. Don't miss this one when you visit Hoi an. Lastly, our tour guide, Vu. Highly recommended. He speaks English, entertaining, fun and capture good photo. He even granted our request on the side which is to try Cao Lao noodles. We will book him again for sure. Thanks Vu

There are 2 parts to this tour. 1) This bamboo boat tour was such a peaceful and unique experience. We got to wear traditional straw hats and go on a spinning ride with the boat master. 2) One of the highlights was releasing lanterns into the river—it was beautiful. We were a bit concerned about the environmental impact, but our guide, Minh, explained they clean up the river every day to make sure it stays clean. By the time you do this activity, the sun would be setting so it is a pretty view.

absolutely FABULOUS time! we booked a private tour with and they were fantastic. so knowledgeable, fun and kind. the bamboo baskets were so fun, we saw so many crabs, lantern making was so so cute - and then the boat ride letting our lit lanterns go was incredible. we highly highly recommend this activity and our tour guides were amaaaazing!

Minh was very kind and knowledgeable guide. We had an amazing experience for our trip to Hoi An. He shared lot of informations about Vietnam’s history as well. I’ll highly recommend to take the guided tour from him 👍🏻

Our bamboo basket ride and lantern release in Hoi An was an unforgettable experience! Minh, our tour guide, was the best—so friendly, funny, and informative. The boat lady, who is deaf and mute, was so sweet and skillful, making the ride smooth and safe but the real surprise was the fun ending—spinning, dancing, and singing on the basket boat! We couldn’t stop laughing The lantern release was peaceful and beautiful. This tour was the perfect mix of culture, beauty, and fun. Highly recommend—make sure to ask for Minh!
