If you require English service, please indicate it in the remarks section when placing your order, and we will do our best to assist you. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. ※ Sea urchin fishing operations depend on the sea conditions of the day. Due to the use of small fishing boats for harvesting, if there are uncontrollable factors such as strong winds or rough seas, it may not be possible to go out to sea for operations. If you're not driving but still want to see Hokkaido's Shakotan Blue, I recommend this tour. Cape Kamui is beautiful. I walk at a pretty good pace, but I still couldn't make it to the lighthouse in the time allotted because the trail is narrow at the end, only allowing one person to pass at a time, so you won't be able to move quickly if there are a lot of people. If it's sea urchin season, be sure to choose the option with freshly prepared sea urchin rice! The fruit you pick will depend on what's ripe and in season. Mt. Tengu is the last stop on the tour, but due to time constraints in the summer, we had to head down the mountain before dark. If you want to see one of Hokkaido's three major night views, you can do as I did and leave the group at Mt. Tengu. After enjoying the night view, you can head down the mountain and stay overnight in Otaru, and then explore Otaru the next day. The tour guide introduces each attraction along the way and carefully reminds everyone of things to be aware of, taking care of each member of the group. There weren't too many people that day, so they arranged a medium-sized bus, which wasn't too crowded and was quite comfortable.
countless thank yous to our guide monchan & our driver Yu-san for not only a spectacular itinerary & lunch! but also their heartfelt generosity taking plenty of photogenic photos of the participants! plenty of time to take your photos and relax, not rushed at all. special thanks for the front seat view 😄✌️
Convenient way to travel to different places not easily access8ble when we are not driving. Nice and great coastal view even though we did not manage to walk to the tip of observation Deck due to strong wind. We are arranged to have lunch at a restaurant opposite the harbor, nice view. Urchin is sweet, fresh and delicious. I had pre arranged children meal instead of cooked meal for my son. We also manage to pluck cherries and it was sweet. a great experience even though we love strawberry.
A convenient way to visit various places not easily accessible when we are not driving. A very nice coastal area even though did not manage to walk to the tip of the observation Deck due to strong wind. We ate at a shop opposite the harbout and Urchin is fresh and sweet and delicious. also pre arranged for cooked meal to change to children meal. We also manage to pluck Cherries as it just started the season. Their strawberry soda is very nice and refreshing.
I've taken day tours in various Japanese cities, and this one is definitely my number one! Our guide, Cindy, was very dedicated in her explanations, and her time management was excellent. The travel time between attractions was about 45 minutes (the tour bus was also very comfortable), and we had enough (and just the right amount of) time to experience each site. The itinerary was packed and very fulfilling. I didn't have high expectations for the meal, but the travel agency truly put thought into it; the seafood rice for lunch was a pleasant surprise, just as good as (or even better than) what you'd find at a seafood market. The tour fee might seem a bit high, but it's absolutely worth the money. This tour comes highly recommended!
Our tour guide and driver were amazing! They were not only chatty but also very professional, providing detailed information about the various attractions along the way. They answered all our questions and even helped us take photos. The restaurants included in the itinerary were great, no risk of a bad meal! The timing and locations were also well-organized. It's a shame we couldn't visit Kamui Gorge due to the recent landslide and that the Mount Tengu Ropeway was closed due to strong winds, but we did receive a refund for the ropeway tickets. Excluding factors outside of their control, I highly recommend this tour. The selected attractions were all highlights and very impressive.
This tour is highly recommended due to the long distance to Shakotan Peninsula. It conveniently takes you to Yoichi Wine Cellar, Cape Kamui, Shimamui Coast, and Mt. Tengu Ropeway. You'll also enjoy a delicious seafood bowl (sea urchin bowl is recommended) and all-you-can-eat fruit. The fruit this time was cherries, which were tart but very sweet. Overall, there's plenty of time, making this tour highly recommended.
Very happy and enjoyable day trip. The tour guide Jin Ying and the driver Mr. Nakamura are very friendly. Although our whole group is small, we are very happy. The itinerary is relaxed and not rushed. The group meal is also very good. The tour guide is knowledgeable and kind. The driver is handsome and smiling, and the driving is also very stable. The group members are punctual and cute. I will definitely join this tour again next time.
This was the best day trip we've ever taken in Hokkaido! Our guide, Xiao Yang, was clear and enthusiastic in his explanations, making our journey very enjoyable! The Shakotan Blue was impressive, cherry picking was fun 🍒, and finally, we took the cable car up Mount Tengu to enjoy the scenery. Overall, the itinerary was very rich and well worth the visit.
