Full-day Tour of the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven in Beijing

I booked the full-day tour as a solo traveler. The attractions were all wonderfully arranged. I sincerely want to commend and thank our tour guide, Wendy. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. It felt like a local friend was taking me around and taking care of everything. Her explanations were engaging and easy to understand, yet she still conveyed historical stories and meaningful insights to everyone. She interpreted everything excellently, whether in Chinese or English. Wendy made me feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout the tour. She was incredibly attentive to every detail. With her arrangements, there was no need to worry. She knew exactly what we needed, allowing us to comfortably enjoy the sights. I hope to meet her again next time.

We had a great experience overall. Our guide, Wendy, was very helpful and knowledgeable. She shared detailed history about both the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace, which made the tour much more meaningful. She also recommended great spots for photos, which we really appreciated. However, the lunch stop at Qianmen Street was not very good and felt quite costly. Overall, it was still a good experience, and we would recommend the tour, especially for Wendy’s excellent guiding.

Wendy knows the attractions extremely well and she also took great care of us during the tour! She was able to give the incredible history and cultural significance of each area we visited during the attractions and I admire her energy from beginning to end despite the hot weather. She was also able to give great recommendations for where to dine during our break time and also gave great suggestions for the shopping areas. To top it off, she helped us take many incredible photos for memories. Thank you so much again for the amazing tour Wendy! Miss Zhuzhu is a very good, knowledgeable and patience guide. She took time to explain to us the history of the places we went. Leave us with sample time explore and take photos. She has also answered questions and additional information we have asked. Highly recommended.

Worth-visiting historical sites! Caring tour guide!

Zhu Zhu was our guide for the day and she was energetic and full of knowledge. She made sure we could follow along the tour and was open to questions. Her guidance on Mandarin enhanced our understanding of the places we visited. She also gave us ample time for photo taking/ visiting the washroom. Since the tour was split into two parts (Temple of Heaven/Summer Palace) she did her best to navigate and book Didis to our next destination, which is not an easy thing to do by herself.
