Beijing Temple of Heaven Half-Day Private Historical Tour

The tour was good. Our tour guide Tim was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. He gave us an in-depth and interesting information on Temple of Heaven m. He was also patient and assisted us with our queries. Even after the tour ended, he gave us directions and even brought us to the place we wanted to go. A big thank you for his kind assistance! Overall, the tour was very enjoyable.

We met our guide at the exact meeting time then headed to the entrance. She had all the tickets ready for us and we managed to avoid much of the big queues (bank holiday weekend) thanks to her skillful weaving. She gave us many information about Chinese culture at large, allowing us to understand better most of the other visits we did after that one (on our own or with other guides). We asked her questions when we wanted and her answers were clear but we would have liked a little bit more on the historical side (dates, anecdotes...). We enjoyed being able to stay longer by ourselves after the end of the tour too.

Lucia brought my family around for the tour. She is very patient and detailed with her explanations. She also made it a point to bring us to the best photo spots and helped us to take very beautiful pictures. Highly recommend!

our guide mike was very professional and friendly. despite that we arrived late, he still waited for us and he was clear in explaining details about the brief history of temple of heaven. he was very fluent in english which made us very easy to communicate.we enjoyed our tour overall.

I really enjoyed my guide Lucy Yue's historical anecdotes about the Temple of Haven. She was knowledgeable and spoke well in English. The only thing is that I bought the private transfer 4 hour tour and 4 hours is too long a time for just this one location although I'm sure the timing is to take into account traffic conditions. The weather wasn't cooperative as well so we finished the tour faster than anticipated.
