Vatnajökull Ice Cave & Glacier Hiking Experience

Definitely amazing tour. Not a very thrilling adventure, but still you can enjoy the astonishing scenery and learn some glacier knowledge. I would recommend it.

Our guide Anya is just amazing. She is very knowledgeable about the glacier and explained very well. she is extremely careful about safety of every team member. She held the hand of a team member who had some difficulties walking to make sure she got to enjoy the hike. very caring guide. We are so lucky to have her. Thank you Anya.

The tour guide was very attentive and explained everything thoroughly! They constantly checked on the group's progress during the trip, so we never felt rushed or left behind! I highly recommend this tour!

Breathtaking surroundings and an amazing experience hiking the glacier. The guide did an excellent job of taking us to see an ice cave, hike the glacier, and see some of the crevaces in the glacier. I'd highly recommend this experience and company as we were able to see more than most groups who take hikes on this glacier. I would classify the hike difficulty as easy to moderate. My only negative was it took us almost an hour after the start time to actually get on the bus to the glacier. This caused the experience to end an hour later than the stated time and affected the remainder of our plans for the day.

Although it is not possible to visit the amazing ice caves during the season, the tour guide was very energetic, the glacier hiking was fun, and I tasted the cleanest ice water👍.

this planned activity is quite good except the weather condition that is not favorable which cause us not able to complete the ice cave tour. the guide George is fantastic and really enjoy the time that we spend there

The experience was excellent, the guides are experienced and also helped take photos. If you encounter good weather, the experience is even more complete. One of the must-do trips when visiting Iceland!

it’s definitely an eye opener. it’s a must visit place in Iceland. Tour guide is so friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. She guide us well. the only downside is that you need to be at least fit enough to do a 2km hike and manage steep slope. Legs can be quite tiring as you need to stem your feet on the ice whenever you take a step. The view is so scenic and wonderful. Too bad we can only visit just 1 small cave due to the weather conditions. The guide had also share much knowledge with us in regards to the glacier 👍. Money well spent.

very easy claiming the voucher. everything is well organized. our tour guide is great and accommodating. explained also how the glaciers was formed.

The tour guides are all enthusiastic, and the itinerary is well-arranged. The only drawback is that the Blue Grotto is relatively small, only 10 meters deep. However, the cave changes every year due to the weather, depending on your luck! Overall, it was a great experience.
