Packraft Wanaka

The activity starts in Wanaka, with a 60 minute scenic drive into the mountains of Mount Aspiring National Park. You'll stop for a snack before getting gear on, and paddling in our 2-person packrafts (inflatable kayaks) down the Matukituki River. You'll spend most of the day surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, glaciers and ancient beech forest. You'll need to have a moderate level of fitness as paddling is required, and yes, you will get wet! This trip is the perfect mixture of fun, excitement and adventure in the most spectacular landscape there is. You and MUST be able to swim to join this activity.
