Thus tour took us to all the best spots to see the cherry blossoms in Tokyo. It was a great tour with tons of walking. Royce, our driver was fantastic…he even came to pick me up when I got lost. We saw a lot of beautiful parks and the cherry blossoms were magnificent! I highly recommend this tour!!

The pick up system (at Shinjuku) is a nightmare. Every tour company just tells travelers to stand outside some bank and wait. We waited almost 30 minutes past pick up time, very worried we missed our bus. Nobody helped us. There was even one tourist that had been scammed, paid money but no tour picked her up. This part of the process is really bad, they need to fix it. But once we found our Gogotravel guide, it all got better. The bus was really nice, the locations were beautiful. I would do it again!

the guide Leslie was really lovely and accommodating, even though we were running a few minutes late she waited for us and communicated timings etc. however the experience itself was not amazing… you are literally just paying to be chauffeured to each park. Tickets are not even bought in advance for those that needed it! Also no help in understanding what to do in each park, I understand it is self guided but a little bit more info would have been useful. all in all, I wouldn’t recommend as it was just an expensive taxi service. you are better off just going to the parks you want yourself. just get there early!!

1. It rained that day and we arrived at the meeting point, but there was no tour guide waiting for us. When I asked other gogoday tour guides, they didn’t know the tour guide or driver, so I had to find the driver myself to get on the bus. It was windy and rainy that day, so there were no temporary arrangements for the itinerary. The cherry blossoms at the park attractions originally scheduled for that day were not in bloom, so we had to get out of the car and look for them on our own despite the heavy rain and wind. There was no guided tour throughout the whole journey. Drenched to the skin, more than half of the people left the group on their own that day.

we waited at the pick up place for 1.5 hours. were one of the first ones to arrive and last ones to leave. we’re never picked up by the guide. so can’t comment on many things. money has not been refunded and no apoyhas been provided so far. no other communication has been there after we were left at the venue for good. we didn’t have the name, number of the guide or the number if the bus. the venue physical address was also not provided. Japanese driver had difficulty locating it in the first place. we know it’s the right place for pick up because there were several others who were picked up by the ‘Gogoday’ company. just not us. terrible experience, wasted day and money and a lot of anxiety.
